  • Do you do cables? If you do, could you show how you do cables?? Thanks! :)

  • Thank you for showing how you knit! I thought I was the only one who knitted like that. lol ... I taught myself how to knit without a book, when I was a kid. :) Mom never did understand how I did it. lol (she doesn't knit.) Thanks for the video! :)

  • I would love to learn to knit, but I am allergic to the die in the yarn. :-( Good to see you Sue.

  • hey Sherron! I am pretty sure they make lots of organic yarns and yarns that haven't been dyed. I seem to remember hearing on a podcast once about a lady who was really ill and found out it was the dye and she LOVED to knit so she started spinning her own yarn so she could control what was in it. :)

  • I never really thought about organic yarns. Hmm..I will have to check into that. Might just do that after the first of the year. I don't see me spinning yarn though. LOL

  • 6 needles!!! i can't even use 2! :-)

Have you ever knitted a poncho?

  • Hi Michelle!

hehe It's only 5 needles. I've never knit a poncho but I bet Ravensky23 (Debbie) has. She is such a fantastic knitter.

  • Oh Sue, I can't imagine getting that far on something and then having to start over. I don't think I would, at least not right away. I would need some time to "get over" the mistake! What happened anyway? You really make the continental way look so darn easy but I just can't keep it consistent. Since I have knitted years ago and did it the english way, it just feels more "right" to me. Does that make sense? I thought I would be able to switch since it has been years, but it didn't work out.

  • I know what you mean. When I first learned I learned the English way as well but before I got set in a certain way I really wanted to learn continental.

What happened with the blanket? Well I was knitting along just fine and it looked really good but then somewhere along the way I knit the same row twice and then the back became the front and I wasn't even close to being a quater of the way done and I have tons of time so I just decided to start over. :)

  • amigurumi is what it is called.

(i think i spelled it right...)

    omg its so cute!

im sure hope she knits some thing from the book for me, if not just in general. i would love to see some thing from her. i love the tiny sock monkeys :)
