I went to a free blues concert about 3 years ago in Bath Pa. There were a few local bands there and the headliner was Guitar Jr. His band came out and played a few songs, then I caught a glimpse of someone helping an old man up the steps to the stage and thought.....This is gonna be a waste of time........Man, was I wrong! This 'old' man was dancing and kicking and having a blast on stage, as was all the audience. A true blues great!
One of the best!I was lucky enough to see Luther play in a small bar in Easton,MA about seven years ago...incredible experience.I was lucky enough to have him sit down at my table and have a whiskey with me...i will never forget it.
It's nice to see you and Pine together. I just tried to find a touring schedule. You need to get out on the road man so I can see you do it again Peace
I saw him in 2000 on a harbor cruise in Boston, truly great. LGJJ is coming to Worcester, MA next Sat (the 2nd of FEB) and RE-arranging plans (wifes Bday no less) to go see the rangey bulldog, can't wait. Keep it up Luther, and take it easy when you can...
I used to work at Nightstage. This brings back great memories. Thanks

Man, Luther with Pinetop, just a few years removed from Muddy Waters' Band...you can't beat that!
Let's hear it for the blues, eh Luther? You know it!!!!!!!!!!!
No one enjoys playing more than Luther. One of the most underrated bluesmen ever, if y'all ever get the chance to see Luther, DO IT!
