Yes.....but discovering interstitial space is also a means of discovering our inner self. And our inner self is of course pure being or pure consciousness.....a reality where there are no objective truths but rather we create the reality. The problem is of course that most people don't want to stop controlling things and let go. Once we let go we can create any reality we want, including abolishing old institutions that seemed so natural (like patriarchy and materialism).

It would have been so much more difficult for a Spanish conquistador to destroy the culture of the Mesoamericans if they truly understood it (this is just an example). But how could they understand such different art and culture? To understand such "alien" art one must experience them in "alien" mindsets....but the only altered form of consciousness the christians ever experiences is the wine-induced numbing consciousness. It explains why the West has been so isolated from the non-western world.
