yes you can. my hair comes to my shoulders. as long as you can pull it back in a pony you should be able to. if you sont have as much hair to work with just make a smaller donut. i had to do it whenever i wore my uniform.

Even then, most of the hair gets thrown away, the rest gets sold and made into clip on hair pieces you can find at wallmart. Few of it actually gets sold to bald children.

YOu don't have to braid it. I do this style for colorguard and we do the sock then all the hair like you did up to 1:04 but then you take small sections of hair and wrap that section around the bun and bobbypin it in. Then you take the next section and so on until none is left. You dont need super long hair to do that but make sure the bobbypin doesnt hit your head lol. Ive done that before.
