But my dad died from pneomia and alcohol poisoning.

That's why I like this episode a whole bunch and why not to go to a party unchaperoned and dangerous.

@TankGirlBOOM Angela/Claire Danes' parents did not want her to continue another season because they thought it interfered with her education! since she was only 15 years of age when she did this show!

I have to say, I like Angela's Mom. She may be strict and sometimes she takes out her frustrations on Angela but she's human, and the important thing is that she actually cares you know? She loves her kids so much, and I daresay she's a far better role model to her children than someone like Rayanne's mother.

@DarkViolet22 i agree with you 100%. when i was a teenager, my friend had a mom who drank and popped pills. she let my friend do what ever she wanted. i thought she was the coolest mom. now that i'm a mother, i look back and realize how irresponsible my friends mother was. it's been ten years and she is still a very bad acholic and pill popper. i am so glad i had a responsible mother.

@milesandmiles9 I grew up in the 90's only a couple years younger than these characters and back then kids were doing drugs in 6th grade. Things haven't gotten much better either...
