Basically, you'll be spending 6 weeks (or longer) at a time surrounded by 12 people in extremely tight quarters. Your passengers suffer from all flavors of mental illness plus huge egos, drug addiction, alcoholism, etc... When 1 of them gets sick...you all get sick (normally by the third day, called "bunk throat"). When someone is on the phone arguing with their wife, their girlfriend...or both, you are also a part of that. Off days = travel days. Ask what it takes to do a "triple over-drive".
