I agree with him. I would rather have a halfway house of former homeless people who are being treated for their mental illness, alcoholism, whatever nnext door than a bunch of homeless fending for themselves, digging through my garbage and sleeping under porches.

Remember how the Romans thought that using police or solders to crucify people would work? Remember that Jesus was born homeless, because no one would let his mother in, so they ended up in with The Animals in a stable?.

They are not criminals. They are the laid off Americans. They will become dangerous when they cant get Cigarettes, or booze. To use the police for this is like arresting people for having diabetics. We cant solve the unemployment problem with police. We cant solve the medical problems with police.
