It's really strange how the World champion had a lost position in just 23 moves, while at the start it looked like the position have been well studied by Anand.
This game barely needs a video commentary like here. Both players were blitzing out there opening moves until Anand either ran out of preparation or mixed himself up, miscalculated 23...Kf7?? 24 Nxf6 and was losing by force from there.
Thanks for the vid, good commentary. This was a tremendous victory by Topalov, stamping his authority on the match immediately. Anand's odd Kf7 was well met with Nxf6 (which I am sure Topalov had been considering for a few moves anyway). Great game and I hope Anand picks himself up and comes back strongly in his first White tomorrow.
