Dr Landwehr told me about this today at my ultrasound bc my baby girl is still breech. Really hoping I do not have to have this done but if I do I'm def glad its him doing it. He is such a great dr and have never heard a neg thing about him
Again, goodluck to everyone in this position, I've had one unsuccessful version with a C-Section result and have Vaginally delivered two babies since this one being one of them!
If you read all the comments I have posted previously more about my first breech baby and this one.The Doctor I had was awesome & would recommend him to any high risk patient! I was told both times I had versions that I was the quietest one they had ever done meaning I didn't moan or scream lol. They usually give you Morphine before hand but they say sometimes it is still painful & it was a lil for me but tolerable! Def worth the try if you don't want a C-Section!!!!
Thank you thank you for posting this! My baby girl is currently breech at 36 weeks, and my OB/GYN was talking about this procedure. I wasn't sure how it was done but this definitely cleared up a lot of my worries! =)
(2of1)He allowed me to Vaginally delivery my third child 14 mo after my C-section with my son, my second child. This Version was my last and fourth baby lol...I feel silly in this video cause I was doped up on drugs lol but glad I let my hubby put it on here!
I also had an unsuccessful Version with my now 4yr old son & still had to have a C-Section so I cried when I found out that I had to have another! I was so happy this one was successful. The same doctor did my first one as well & it was actually successful but the cord wrapped around his neck & his heart rate dropped fast so they had to turn him back!& the first one I had was also a lil more painful than this one.I am glad u & your son enjoy watching this.I love this Dr,Saw him with 3of my 4kids
My almost 4 year old loves to watch this video and do the exact same things on my non-pregnant belly. :) I had a unsuccessful ECV and it was a) painful for me b) not done quite like this! I would've been glad to have it done by this dr.
Yeah definitely a little to late to switch Dr's lol. And he's a great Dr too...You should pick him first next time. he makes it a fun experience hes not like other Doctors at all.
Awesome video! I live in Indy and want him to be my doctor. He's funny! I'm 35 weeks today though and well past choosing a doctor, lol. Thanks for sharing this.
(2) Breech also and my Version with him was unsuccessful because during the turning the cord wrapped around his neck & his heart rate dropped so the Doctor, same one, had to turn him back. Thats why the C-section with him. But even tho his was unsuccessful I still attempted it with this pregnancy and so glad I did cause it worked! Since I had my first normal, third VBAC and now this one VBAC I know the difference, trust me, everything you can do to ensure a Vaginal Delivery is worth it! Goodluck
Gotta love him lol, this is Samantha, my husband was almost correct on everything. The Version was not bad after the Morphine, just a little pressure, I was almost 37 weeks, just a few days shy...I have had one previous Vaginal delivery and one VBAC because I had my son C-Section. Going in tonight for the induction of this baby girl! So tonight will make my third Vaginal. Technically my second VBAC, I would highly recommend having this procedure if needed, My son was...
She was 37 weeks at the time. It was uncomfortable for her but they gave her alot of Morphine first. you should definitely try and have this done. Shes had one C-section and hated it, and 3 Vaginal deliveries. Shes actually getting induced today!!! :)
