What a great movie, had it all "action, comedy, drama, a solid story line AND it was really well made. Saw movie on fillmsi.co.cc.... I was waiting for the vault scene, just so i could laugh a bit, but they pulled it off really well!

Well I think its normal - for this movie not to be understandable for everyone. Lots of people will just fall asleep the first 15 minutes, because there's no explosions, no shooting, no chasing, no sex, etc. For me this movie was great when I saw it at filmsi.co.cc. Enjoy.

Oh that last shot of the movie. At the midnight premiere of the movie everyone in the audience was practically screaming at the screen at the implications of that last shot. I will see it on kookíca again for sure. But boy howdy did it have everyone talking.

For me any film that has 'replay/re-watch value' (and not many action films these days do) is worthy of at least 8 out of ten. I would give this one 9 out of Ten, it is not perfect but it is still a brilliant film to see on kòòkica!!
i thought the cast was amazing and the effects completely germaine to the movie, but i sort of feel like it was almost *too* easy to follow. i'd be totally willing to see it again on kòòkica just to see if there was something i missed, thematically speaking, and whether the end is what i think it is, or not.

This song is called Mind Heist, and it's by Zack Hemsey. He reworked some of Hans Zimmer's score for the trailer, I think. Unfortunately this song isn't on the soundtrack they released, but it does have some similar sounding ones from the film, like "Dream is Collapsing". "Time" is another good one.
Where this movie failed was that when you are dreaming, it is not entirely like the real world we live in, the textures are more dreamlike and you seem to fly in your dreams and then fall all of a sudden. Sometimes you are just floating on the water and sometimes you are able to breathe underwater in your dreams, and it all feels real. In this movie, the subconscious mind looks exactly like the real thing, which is not true. Folding buildings does not prove anything.
@IronManu77 that's a common complaint, but remember that the dreamer was in control of the dream world and its rules, so they could choose how realistic they wanted the dream. The more realistic the dream, the longer it would take for the mark's subconscious to recognize that it was dreaming.

I did not like the movie although I understood it because the movie demands sympathy for the criminals who are stealing secrets from someone's mind. @snipz1012 Oh I understood it perfectly, perhaps more than you did. His wife was trapped in his subconscious mind and he used to go into his dream world to talk to her. If you remember, if the person dies within the mind of another person, they are lost in a limbo for a very long time. Hence his wife committed suicide in Cobb's conscience and that is why he used to go on guilt trips. Ellen Paige found that out that his wife had become a threat to the whole plan. Cobb gets trapped in the end

This has the potential to be the best movie released since the Dark Knight. I just hope DiCaprio's role is more along the lines of what he did in The Departed / Body of Lies / Blood Diamond - where he is in control of what's going on around him and not like Shutter Island where he seems lost and confused half the time.. It looks like, the "idea" is someone controlling the laws of physics, the cliche thing would be someone is "descended by gods" or something, but knowing Jonathan Nolan (The writer and brother of Christopher Nolan), he will think of something amazing as an explanation on why someone can control physics itself.....

I agree. Leo needs to win oscar and so does Nolan. James Cameron, Christopher Nolan, and Steven Speilberg are brilliant directors. I love them. I can't wait to see this movie or any movie that Nolan and Leo make and are in.
I guess the film takes place inside a person's mind, due to all the bizarre stuff like the train smashing through the city, the water coming out of the walls, the city folding on it's self. I guess DiCaprio's character has found a way to enter someones mind and steal their idea.

i thought the cast was amazing and the effects completely germaine to the movie, but i sort of feel like it was almost *too* easy to follow. i'd be totally willing to see it again on kòòkica just to see if there was something i missed, thematically speaking, and whether the end is what i think it is, or not.

This song is called Mind Heist, and it's by Zack Hemsey. He reworked some of Hans Zimmer's score for the trailer, I think. Unfortunately this song isn't on the soundtrack they released, but it does have some similar sounding ones from the film, like "Dream is Collapsing". "Time" is another good one.

Where this movie failed was that when you are dreaming, it is not entirely like the real world we live in, the textures are more dreamlike and you seem to fly in your dreams and then fall all of a sudden. Sometimes you are just floating on the water and sometimes you are able to breathe underwater in your dreams, and it all feels real. In this movie, the subconscious mind looks exactly like the real thing, which is not true. Folding buildings does not prove anything.

@IronManu77 that's a common complaint, but remember that the dreamer was in control of the dream world and its rules, so they could choose how realistic they wanted the dream. The more realistic the dream, the longer it would take for the mark's subconscious to recognize that it was dreaming.

@snipz1012 Oh I understood it perfectly, perhaps more than you did. His wife was trapped in his subconscious mind and he used to go into his dream world to talk to her. If you remember, if the person dies within the mind of another person, they are lost in a limbo for a very long time. Hence his wife committed suicide in Cobb's conscience and that is why he used to go on guilt trips. Ellen Paige found that out that his wife had become a threat to the whole plan. Cobb gets trapped in the end

This has the potential to be the best movie released since the Dark Knight. I just hope DiCaprio's role is more along the lines of what he did in The Departed / Body of Lies / Blood Diamond - where he is in control of what's going on around him and not like Shutter Island where he seems lost and confused half the time.. It looks like, the "idea" is someone controlling the laws of physics, the cliche thing would be someone is "descended by gods" or something, but knowing Jonathan Nolan (The writer and brother of Christopher Nolan), he will think of something amazing as an explanation on why someone can control physics itself.....
