It's a shame Sony always has to mess up something on the Slim versions of their consoles starting on PS2 Slim not having a disc tray but a top loader. The PS3 Slim does not support older PS games (so they mkae you pay for games you already own) and there's no screen that tells you the game is started like on its FAT version.... THEY SHOULD LET USERS PLAY PS2 GAMES ON THE PS3 SLIM,

@dodgecoronet68 Like you said its so they can sell you the games again. I have the 80gb fat model (that doesn't play them either) Personally though I think they can shove it. I'll just use my ps2 to play ps2 games. The slim is so small it doesn't take up any space under the tv anyway. Especially considering some real gems cost less than £1 now off sites like amazon and play.com. Very few are more than £5, apart from some of the real rare ones.
