Hi, I have a QAD on my hoyt maxxis, 30.5 inch draw 80lb and 300spine arrows. I can't for the life of me get arrow clearance. No matter what I do, my vanes contact the rest. Im getting ready to toss the damn thing in the bin, do you have any advice for me?
@MrJenik007 There are several things I would check.... 1. Maybe check the "square" of your bow, make sure everything is lined up. 2. Make sure youre shooting it with the cock up. 3. Make sure the spine of your arrows are stiff enough.
@MrJenik007 4. Another thing, "like mentioned in this video" make sure the two white line on the rest line up when the bow is at full draw. I have several of these rests and have never had an issue... If the doesnt help, email QAD. They have been super helpful and responsive to any questions that have had... Good Luck
I set one up and I could see what you did wrong. Next time tighten it up more so it will move with a little force. Not so loose that it will move on it's own and not so tight, but enough to keep the lines together by itself. Then pull back your bow if it is tightened up right it will move down the cables and keep the lines matched up. Let down your bow and tighten down the bolts. I know what you mean about the instructions because I would have had trouble to but mine came with a DVD to help. Hop
@SurvivalRox Check out the second review I did on it. It gets a little bit better review after I have more time with it and watch the DVD youtube dot com watch?v=OAnvQtBeHfI
The extra piece on my stabilizer is a limbsaver stabilizer enhancer. It doesn't add any weight really it just helps absorb more vibration. It works really well for that.
just curious, what is that extra extension on your octane stabilizer? Im actually looking for something similar to your extension. Does it give it more weight? I have an octane stabilizer and its a bit light so i wanted more weight on.
for the money you cant beat a qad!!!

thanks a lot! appreciate it. You've done good reviews for the destroyer 350 and 340, whats your take between those and the Mathews z7?
