@JValenz55 While it helps in most cases, any time you go with a cat that flows more than the factory cat you will have issues passing emissions testing.
Quick question BMP Designs, i just purchased a 1992 bmw 325is, im experiencing a lack of stabliztion in the rear end. I have located the problem, but i do not know what that part is called. I found the part with in the video. It is seen 20 - 24 seconds of this video and it is to the right of the flanges, Looks like a black cylinder with a silver inner circle. What is the name of that part? Please help BMP designs
yea this is ok, there's a lot of other stuff he doesn't cover when taking out the headers, I mean, It's a LOT of work, easily an entire day even with a lift and all. you need to drain the radiator, which he already did, make sure you remember which O2 sensor cables go where, and make sure you disconect the the cable underneath the radiator overflow box, be careful not to strip the plastic pieces on the wire harness. and make sure you have a torx set for the back bolts to the section 2
It is a lot of work, it took me 6 hrs on a lift but no draining of any coolant, i just swung the res. out of the way. Just about all bolts can be accessed from underneath. The rear HO2 sensors are rerouted if installed on the mid pipes, i notched the plastic valve cover in the rear to run the rear HO2 wires down.
FYI, the mounts he was talkin about the 2x 8mm nuts on the passenger side and the 4x 8mm nuts on the driver side are 12mm not 8mm. i dont know what he was smoking that day.
hi! i have a question..maybe you can help me. i have to change the precat oxygen sensor for cyclinders 4-5-6. as you know there is not alot of space down there. can you give me some tips about how should i remove that sensor???
Does using the Metallic Cats help pass emission testing?
I sure hope so.. I'm in CA.

@ssdh22accord he was refering to the diameter of the stud not the diameter of the copper nut. And the copper nut is actually a 13mm.
