what are you going on about ... mass effect is nothing like halo3 , you cant compare the 2 ....even tho i like to play halo3 online , but the story is very short you can beat the in like 3 hours if you hurry , and nothing special ever happens apart from running thru the game shooting enemies over and over again ....mass effect takes some time to get into its a very long game with a deep open story ,you could play the game like 20 times and it would always be differernt from the other times !

Awesome... and it's going to be even better on PC (coming out May '08). You can command your squadmates individually, more frequent autosaves, etc... and you can have more hotkeys on PC and it's simply better than consoles :D

it is to some extent, as in you get given lots of smal missions to do along with the main quest and the order in which you attack the side misions (or if you attack them at all) is totally up to you.
