Idina Menzel is one of those people that just kind of put me in awe. I have a similar admiration for Allison Holker. I don't see a flaw in her and as was said multiple times in this feed she is an amazing actress, but he any of you listened to her albums, even the ones not associated with Broadway, AMAZING. Besides Darren Criss she is the only interest i have with glee, and her poker face cover with the show.. If you haven't listened to it search it, it's wonderful.

RENT for Idina Menzel transformed her entire life-she may have won the Tony award for Wicked, but she was involved in a play that became a HUGE success and that dealt with the issues of the times in NYC, especially with artists,namely HIV and AIDS. They were an epidemic in NYC in those days, and tons of artists were living in the Village at that time.It went from a small off-broadway place right to Broadway because they needed a bigger place!! Tix were sole out for months for this show!

there had been a rent show in the philippines last month, my siblings say it was not the show they were expecting. to tell you the truth, i didn't like the rent 2009: though the mark was really good. the roger has to work with his fingers, it's irritating seeing his actions over and over again. the angel was really good and hilarious. i guess i loved the rent movie so much.

I always liked the soundtrack and movie of Rent, but never REALLY knew the history of it and jonathan larson etc. I starting OBSESSING over it around the beginning of february 2010. It ended its Broadway tour two weeks after I started revolving my life around the soundtrack, and the live on broadway dvd of it.... fml. i wanna see it live SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!! worst timing ever! :( i spend all my time watching youtube videos of rent....... at 3 AM. nice. PLEASE BRING BACK RENT!!!!

Well you figure it was her first huge gig, she met her husband, there was the death of Jonathan, and just the hugeness of the project and how much its meant to the comunity that it served... it probably has more significance to her then Wicked, which is amazing as well.

I LOVE RENT it was very hard for me to say goodbye to this amazing musicial. I could not stop watching the movie. I saw the musical twice in my life and I loved it. It is so sad that it is going off of Broadway. I will miss the show just being around.

I don't want it to end. I discovered Rent only 2 years ago by accident and I've been a Rent-head since. Rent is my part of my life and has helped through some bad times. It's an amazing musical that future generations should know about. Rent is hope and happiness and sorrow but most importantly, Love. Love is something we are in need of this age in time. I'm gonna miss Rent very much and I hope its message never dies. NO DAY BUT TODAY!! ^^

b/c it isnt making money. there are a lot of expenses that go into making a musical that don't end after it opens. if the producers aren't making money they can't pay and/or make enough profit. therefore it needs to close.

remember there are actors, musicians, stagehands to pay and they prob. have to pay nederlander for the theater too.

i till wish it wouldn't close i love it too much.
