  • We get to watch music videos in my music class, so I played this one and now everyone thinks I'm Lucifer. Fuck them! I have to listen to their Chris Brown shit all the time ( a guy who beats up his girlfriends and throw chairs through windows cause he has anger issues). I play my stuff and everybody hates it. I played "Automatic" by Powerman 5000 and they were calling it death metal and said I had issues (?). So whenever you get the chance just play good songs like this, just to say ╭∩╮to pop.

  • I <3 this song :D

  • the lead singer is my 3rd cousin!

    check out my band.

    the city of dusk

  • @keeganjace1 pretty cool!

  • peacemaker 8624388047

  • What happend to this band? They were so good.

  • 120 minutes! We use to hear new music all the damn time, now its all just blah. God, I miss those Sunday nights......

  • I used to love this song... Was on an off road racing game... Nostalgic...

  • 703 people are guilty. 10 people are guilty too.

  • i saw them play in a bar in st louis in 96 or 97. not sure exactly when, those years are kinda foggy. but it was an awsome show. i got punched in the eye by a bouncer after i accidently kicked him in the face while crowd surfing.

  • BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS! \0/

  • Yeah..so I just learned that Jeff is my girlfriends uncle!!! Fuck yeah!!

  • @ClaymoreDrummer999

    jeff is my 3rd cousin

  • I had a soulgasm. Oh my.... never felt like this before.

  • 666 likes!!! BRUTAL!!!!

  • YES i found it at laaaast!

  • this song is a 90's industrial classic.

  • I'm really surprised these guys didn't get more popular, seems like a lot of people don't know who they are where I live. Out of the 8 years I've known about them, I've only met one person who knew them lol. I really like them though.

  • I miss you Matt pinfield love you

  • saw these guys in 2002 they werent bad at all

  • 120 MINUTES!!!! I MISS YOU!!!!

  • NIC JINEHO NEZ MAZEC

  • I love Matt Pinfield.

  • ahh when mtv was cool. what happened to matt pinfield? he was awesome

  • hmmm... i was expecting something different :v

  • lol 50$ is harsh haha anyways, these dudes could have done so much more if focused

  • Ah when MTV was good.

  • Wow, it's kind of like NIN-- only not as good.

  • @suislaughtered i enjoy it and i have NIN tattooed across my arm.

  • @tasteegold777 According to their official Twitter page they are indeed working on new material. But it seems to be a slow process.

  • I shall be keeping my eyes & ears open fo this band...very impressive!

  • I know Doug Firley (keyboardist) personally, he is the boyfriend of my wife's best friend. We go to their house pretty often. They are not back to the studio working in new music. Doug told me that the last time they did a concert they just made $50 each band member so is not even worth to do live appearances. They each do their own thing now and no plans of getting together in the future

  • @espencer85 Then Jeff is working on new music under the GK moniker...check out the GK Twitter (it states "Working on new music. First studio effort since 2002.")

  • It appears Jeff is working on the next GK record solo: gravitykillsofficial.tumblr.com/

  • @ageis After reading that i went ahead and asked Doug's girlfriend about it directly. She confirmed that the entire group is involved making new music so i apologized for the mistake.

  • @espencer85 Yeah, if money is your only motivation to make or play music then you shouldn't really do it.

  • @espencer85 Are they still doing anything in st. louis? I remember seeing them there live when i was in college.......phenomenal... it is such a shame.. let Doug know they still have devoted fans. I live in Ft. Lauderdale now and have introduced GK to a whole new set of fans down here.

  • @espencer85 Man that is unbeleivable that they would make so little. Not litterally unbeleivable mind you, I'm not calling you a lier! Just that these guys are awesome and I could easily see them being the intro for NIN or similar till they were a bit better known. What a shame its never going to be...

  • @espencer85 if indeed they DO decide to make another record, let em know that a guy from the STL area has been waiting patiently for quite some time plz. thnx in advance.

  • wow i remember when this came out it was one of my favorite songs they need more bands like these guys instead of all these pop artist whom cant carry a tune in bucket but who sells cause of looks not talent

  • wow i actually recorded this episode when it aired...

i used to use one VCR to record 120 minutes then use a second to add the songs i liked to another TAPE...

god damn it im getting old...32...boooooo

  • @GetDead151 I used to do the EXACT same thing. Glad to see I wasn't the only crazy one doing this :) Recently converted all of those VHS tapes to DVD. The memories!

  • @GetDead151 me too, i hate being 32, even tho i'm only 20

  • Wow this was when MTV actually played music?? Must be a looong time ago. :-P

  • Wow, this was when MTG actually played music.

  • Man I wish these were still on TV making appearances and doing live shows... because I'm 17 and it seems that no one is interested in Good Music Now =(

  • @Underfist101 Rumor is the band has reformed and are working on new music. So you could still be in luck!

  • @ageis Really, with the same Industrial sound!? that's amazing!

  • @Underfist101 i feel sorry for you..bieber,gaga and all this shit...

  • @Davelopper I know, especially growing up with a bunch of Chavs with a Ego that could supply the school, who apparently have never heard of Headphones while listening to their so called "Music"

  • @Underfist101 serriously wow gayy!! haha they r those kinda annoinces that really sucks

  • @11okilp And silly me I though college would be different ¬_¬

  • @Underfist101 join their twitter, they love hearing from fans and answer questions!

  • @kiukle Gotta sign up to twitter First XD

  • Every rock song I hear on the radio that's worth looking up and downloading is from the 90's era. I'm so pissed that rock these days is sad and pathetic garbage for the most part.

  • Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitlied!!!

I dont think they fell off at all they just evolved....still the ultra heavy beat in my book

  • LOVE these guys man.... first heard them on the MK soundtrack and I LOVED THEM, I had to get everything they made... Sad to admit that's how I discovered them but it's true lol

  • 7 people were guilty and killed by gravity

  • I wonder if there are people now who weren't born early enough to get that the M is Music, they think it's just like the letter M not representing anything.

  • there last cd didnt impress me too much and ive heard they were trying to come back as well but i hope they havnt fallen too far like fear factory and kmfdm

  • @streetraider08 I don't think KMFDM fell all that far TBH... Except their new single Krank which is pretty damn average

  • I remember when they blew up on the airwaves of 105.7 the point (awsome) radio station as well as The Urge.. from across the river on Illinois side :D

  • i remember getting so much ass to this album...

  • Actually, They formed in St Charles, a suburb of St Louis.

  • back when they actually had music on MTV

  • These guys are fucking awsome live!!! I got to see them on there pre-hiatus tour for Superstarved. Can't wait to see them again, one of my all time favorite concerts

  • reznor went all emo, gravity kills at least tried to keep the art alive. Trent has become a macfag. I no longer Have a use for trent reznor. Way of the road.

  • dude! i forgot the thing used to be on mtv!

  • This CD...a pontiac firebird...and an open freeway...those were the days!!!! LOVE this song!

  • Gravity Kills, BACK and in the studio! Jeff Scheel bloging it up & a sweet FB music wall too!!! See Gravity-Kills

  • I love this song, I didnt realize they were from STL!!! ---

  • @alwayscode390 they're not actually ....they are from Jefferson City

  • very happy to see Matt Pinfield introduce the video for us.

  • St Louis four-some???

  • MTV needs to play real music agin r they that blind to c that we don't even like MTV any more look how many people complain about them

  • SEVEN!

  • I actually won an award for selling the most copies of this disc back when I was a salesman for Universal One Stop. Miss early industrial rock and ebm....

  • Seeing Matt Pinfield at the beginning reminded me how cool MTV was. Now MTV just sucks!

  • saw them live back in 98 (or 99, the years mix together oops) so fcking awesome

  • I feel old! I remember when MTV did play music vids. I remember having VCR recordings of beavis & butthead, super rock, headbangers ball, liquid tv, etc. Geez, where did the good days go?

This song was also on the "Off-Road" game for Playstation. Wow...

  • thisis making me feel old....used to set up my VCR to record 120 Minutes. i would then get a 2nd VCR and make a "best of" tape.

couple more songs from "the good old days": Catherine Wheel - Down , Prick - Animal , Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot , Self - So Low , Stabbing Westward - Shame , Dink - Green Mind , Our Lady Peace - Starseed , Blur - Stars , Marilyn Manson - Dope Hat (best video)

ok, now i have to look up all these songs...

  • This was really their only song that really kicked ass. The rest sucked. Sorry ! ! !

  • whoooa its been a long time since ive even thought of this band.

  • i love matt pinfield!!!!

  • there are very few bands that can do industrial rock music right.this band was one of those few bands from the 90s, along with White /Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000,Nine Inch Nails etc .im not a big fan of all those underground industrial bands , with crappy gothic singers and techno sounding music. i think the best industrial rock bands are the ones that use bands like the Beatles as a model and inspiration, instead of just relying in sounding dark and dressing all gothic.

  • i always thought this would be a great song to see girls dance to at the nudey-bar........

  • Hey Laura I know you remember this one......hehe.....;)

  • You know, this song totally fits "Death Note" as well.

  • Love the song first time seeing the video to it. Very cool.

  • Awsome song to get a table dance to!!!! Danm I miss the 90's!!

  • seen this band in 96 for a dollar in tulsa bad ass

  • Ah.. 120 Minutes, how I miss you..

  • I don't think Gravity Kills really sounds like NIN at all. Just that the singer sounds sort of like Trent.

  • what happened to these guys?

  • @GunYou1 They're actually in the studio now working on new music.

  • @ageis Bullshit! Are you serious?I thought they broke up and were gone forever! I'm happy to read this :)

  • @ageis no they are not, I know Doug Firley (keyboardist) personally and I know for sure they do their own thing now.

  • @GunYou1 They're actually in the studio now working on new music.

  • Comment removed

  • @cwbytank They've already played a show this year (check their MySpace blog back entries) and Jeff has been tweeting about working on new Gravity Kills material in the studio for the last few months.

  • @ageis Maybe the drummer is not in the group anymore and doesn't know it?

  • @cwbytank yea well my my dad can beat up your dad

    so there.

  • lead singer Jeff Schell work for Box Talent in Oklahoma City Booking Agency

  • @GunYou1 they've been on a hiatus due to napster, limewire enabling too many freebies, and vynil scratching mumblers like candyman and sparechange hogging the headlines due to beck and o'reilly types inducing youth to like that crap. but they've done occasional festivals and now that the hip hop is starting to take a small fall like glam metal did it looks like they'll try again.

  • This song always reminded me of NIN. Also reminds me of the the dude who made custom dildos in Se7en!

  • ahh yes industry!! Hopefully they bring the 90s rock back. Looks like little by little bands are coming back.

  • Damn this takes me back. Kudos for uploading this badass song

  • The first time I heard these guys was when I bought the Mortal Kombat soundtrack in 1995, and then later the movie Seven soundtrack, and then I bought the LP. I had 3 CD's with the same song on it. Their album was awesome, they had a bunch of other good songs on it too. I'm glad I was a 90's kid.

  • This isn't really industrial. When I talk about Industrial rock, it seems no-one calls it that much outside of here. I guess this is Industrial Kold-Wave. Like Chemlab, or the such. Great music. It seems to have faded to somewhere though. That is too bad. Great memories :)

  • The guys are from my hometown, St. Louis MO. Arguably one of the best industrial bands of all time.

  • This sounds like a cross between NIN and Rammstein...used to hear it on BRU.

  • video is sucks! song is greate!

  • I miss this type music sooo much; this brings me back to my high school years1

  • check out Reverend H Chronicles... they are an industrial band

  • dudes i remember listening to this song for THE FIRST TIME ON THE X-GAMES CD! ah the 90's industrial/rock was the best

  • This is a cool as song no matter how many years go by. It rocks.

  • these people are kick ass

  • Haha its weird to see your friends in a music video...lol I get to see Gravity Kills tomorrow :D Backstage, private woohoo lol

  • This video was the most disgusting and scary thing on TV back in the day. I was always so creeped by the maggot guy and dirty pukelicker girl. ::shivers:: Not that that's a bad thing. Always liked the vid and the song.

  • this track was huge in chicago...loved this shit...

  • this shit thighter than a mutha fucca

  • @megatron197484 LOL!! go back to your rap shit you slut.

  • not loud enough

  • not loud enough

  • Group's like gravity kills, sister machine gun, machine's of loving grace, filter, stabbing westward, front 242,God lives under water, just to named a few were never given true recognition. But that's the way the music industry work's going after popularity and profit.Enjoy your justin beaver cleaver , your lady gag gag and distortion voice rap music which is starting to wear thin hahahahahahahaha!.......

  • @elimdeyonkersny i agree awesome band just not the backing they needed

  • im so the bastard child of th 90s

  • see kids? they did play videos on MTV.

  • @TwoTone98Z71 120 minutes was the only place to hear good music on mtv. then they moved it to m2...then it died all together.

i got into shit like sonic youth, dinosaur jr, and HUM thanks to 120 minutes.

    beavis and butthead helped, too.

  • @TwoTone98Z71 late at night on sundays.

  • @TwoTone98Z71 They still do!!!...

....they're just between like 5 and 6:30 am when no one in MTV's target demographic are awake.

  • @TwoTone98Z71 IKR, now it's all drama whores and reality show shit. They need to change the name from Mtv to Stv. M stood for MUSIC. Now it's Shit tv.

  • @Bllackguard666 yeah mtv now sucks ass

  • @TwoTone98Z71 Yeah, I hate that there aren't any channels like that now, makes me want to go set something on fire, that's why I hate the present

  • First heard this on the X-Games: The Music Vol. 1 CD...perhaps one of the best musical grab bag CDs of the 90s.

  • If you want your SO to remember the night, f**k her to the rythmn of this CD. Almost all songs are appropriate. Oh, you will enjoy it too.

  • remember Matt Pinfield!!! Great music knowledge, great song

  • why cant every song be this good

  • They still play in St. Louis almost every year. <3.

  • Subscribe to my channel, I guarantee, you'll discover something on there you like and all the videos are entertaining. Of course I listen to a lot of new stuff as well. I got like 106 industrial music videos though. From the 80's to now and most all of it is pretty fast and heavy. Smoke a bowl and find hours of amusing muSICK videos!!!

  • I like how the video starts with an intro from Mr. Matt Pinfield

  • If youre looking for great industrial check out a band called Mass Murder Agenda! Sound like a mix tween Ministry and Slayer! They are from sweden i think!

  • MTV is just plain crap now. and i agree with Sn0manx. I love industrial, but the stuff they play now......is kinda disappointing.

  • I like to hang from sprinkler pipes while shouting too

  • I LOVE INDUSTRIAL!

  • I hope they do put out some new stuff. They were awesome live.

  • 90s industrial is the best!! why doesnt anybody make industrial anymore? its just screemo and grindcore, both are gay

  • @Sn0manX I agree, not much can top 90's Industrial. But there are still bands out there doing it. 16Volt still makes albums. Rumor has it that Gravity Kills are writing new songs. There is an awesome new female-fronted Industrial Rock band called Moth Complex. Heck, I even make Industrial under the name Blind With Rain. So the music is still out there, you just have to work harder to find it. ;)

  • @ageis Don't forget KMFDM!!

  • @ageis

90s industrial is when it was finally "mainstream cool". this is, simultaneously, a good and bad thing as a hell of a lot of people ignore what came from the 80s but hey, I could be horribly wrong...

  • @ageis Don't forget KMFDM is making new stuff all the time!

  • @Sn0manX agreed i miss the good old industrial

  • @Sn0manX Thank you. I was about to say, "What genre is this?" It's so hard to keep all the subtle different variations separate in my head.

  • @Sn0manX You should check out Cyanotic, Acumen Nation and Everything Goes Cold. There is still industrial around today and a lot of EBM and every other genre and sub-genre in between.I always considered these guys more industrial Rock a sub genre of industrial which is the main base of everything else. But who cares it all sounds good to me. From electro to psy-trance to My life with the thrill kill kult. Sure there is a lot of mediocre now days, but there was back then too. search underground

  • @Sn0manX Totally agree. And in addition, those who were the best at those times are dissappearing...like type O negative frontman and NIN. God save us all! XD

  • @Sn0manX reason being is all the Screamo Grindco homos made Industy come over here in Europe and we love it!

  • @Sn0manX I fucking agree. Me and some friends want to start an industrial band.

  • @Sn0manX Yeah its sad really that Industrial just stoped . Right now all i wait for is a Skinny Puppy Show that usually leaves me pretty satisfied . This band rocks though hope they make some Good Music if they Record .Seriously Was hoping they would keep this going Longer . Debut album was really good.

  • @Sn0manX

They are gay? what are you, 12?

I know your comment is old...but grindcore has been around since before you were born, you dope. It all comes down to personal taste, but if you listen to Industrial and can't appreciate bands like Napalm Death, Repulsion, ANB, then you're missing out.

  • @Complete180 grindcore sounds like drowning dogs, vomiting, and or other incoherent sounds. the guitar is shit allong with all the other instruments. there is literally no musical value.

  • @Sn0manX

You know, by saying that you're practically saying industrial music doesn't hold any value either. It's strange how someone with "nu metal" in their profile pretends to put value on music whatsoever, haha. Get out of here with your musical snobbery and go rock out to some korn.

  • This always reminds me of that movie Seven, particularly the ending

  • I freaking love this song.

But I'm at a loss to know wether or not I love or am incredibly creeped out by the video.

  • U TUBE ALL MESSED UP

  • I LOVE this song! It reminds me of Marilyn Manson whom I also love (sorry, no disrespect intended).

  • Man I fucking love this song XD.

    <3

  • I was only 13 in 1996 but my older brother who was 15 played this cd all the time and so naturally I did too. Damn I miss the 90s.

  • @nineteen99 I'm totally with you, i was 11 and had this on cassette (and still do). Theres no school like the old school, 95% of todays rock SUCKS and got pussified. The same could be said about rap music too

  • @iscream22 You know why? 911, seriously. That's why everything on the radio is a bunch money, ass kissing, commercialized, sappy love songs. So we won't open our minds, question authority, think about what is going this country. 90's stuff was to free, rebellious and violent. Now it's all sucking cock for money. Go to work, do what your told, have kids and be a spoke in the wheel. Cultivated like cattle.Their not going to play gangsta rap on the radio, thats terrorist talk now days.Think about it

  • This is what would happen if Scott Weiland and Trent Reznor had a baby. It ain't pretty.

  • LOL. That might actually turn out to be quite a freak show!

  • MYV 120min, is that even around anymore? Or is replaced with all the rest of the crap MTV plays now.

  • @TheBuilder65 In my mind there is no mtv anymore :)

  • @iscream22 Very ture, we have to come to here just to hear REAL music!

  • sell out

    couldn't take the heat

  • @cavtroopere303

    What??

  • they replaced it with tons of the crap the play on the channel now bring back old school mtv

  • When i first heard this i thought it was NIN for like 20 sec. lol

  • sparrerbyrd your a fucking pussy!! Shut the Fuck Up and bow down to Gravity Kills!!! I bet you don't play any instrument at all and playing with yourself doesn't count. So fuck you and any one else who wants to talk shit on Industrial musick!!!!!
