  • that was fun to watch, really impressive process

  • @1.23 "striper jaw remove to cup from the mandrill" xD

  • seems a bit over the top

just weld some caps on a length of steel pipe about 8 inch diameter... done

  • @PlebScrubber BOOOOOOOM one week leter

  • i didn't know the scuba cylinder production proccess was that bad-ass XD

  • its "how its made" episode

  • Laminage à froid

  • This is the best industrial process video I've ever seen. The only thing that would have made it better? Boobies.

  • wow that was damn interesting ! thanks

  • Dammmm ya... like the porcess

  • I like the trick of closing the necks before heating. The shot blasting also reduces the risk of ruptures by evening out stress risers on the surface.

  • If it was a how it's made video, every sentence would contain "a machine" or "an operator".

  • @lexichronicle2 so true

  • "is subject to a trimming operation"... in English: is cut.

  • are you sure they filmed this, or used how its made videos and turned it into their own promotional video?

  • talk about raping metal utterly.

    800T force X )

  • Man amazes me sometimes.

  • Thats Gas

  • omg o-o

now i know why scuba cylinders are so expensive

  • i think that is the same footage from how it's made

  • That's some hot robot porn you got there.

  • what kind of care and expertise does it take for a programmed machine to do something haha

  • @chopper957 The kind of care and expertise it takes to program the machine, obviously.

  • They try so hard to make it sound more complicated than it is. I'm sure your liquefied soap tank gets everything micro clean. I'm glad you don't just cut the end off, it's important to have a trimming operation. I'm glad you told us you use an oxygen-fuel gas to heat the cylinder, otherwise you wouldn't sound so smart. Oh, you say your CNC machine has synchronous movement of TWO axis! That is almost impressive so someone who has no idea what you are talking about.

  • @jzygula agreed haha but if i was a customer who had no idea what any of that was i would be amazed haha almost any foundry has those capabilties tho

  • 1:35

Cumming while still in the ass.

  • lol it made a nipple @ 2:55

  • it's good to see that they are making cylinders again. I was told that they made so many during WWII that there was a surplus for years, so no new cylinders were needed. Correct me if I am wrong...

  • 2:04 : very bad welded ^^

  • Impressive video !!!

  • I loved this

  • cool stuff

  • If you like stuff like this, check out "How It's Made", available from iTunes.

One of the episodes covers high-pressure gas cylinders, and uses this footage.

And no, I don't get a commission. The plug comes from the heart...I love watching stuff like this.

  • Is it just me, or is it pretty amazing they get a 2.5 foot or 3 foot disc, turned into a cylinder? I never paid attention, guess I just assumed they were rolled and welded lol

  • I dont know whats more impressive. The process of making the cylinders or how all of this information was given clearly in 5 minutes.

  • ...and to think 800 tonnes of pressure to complete a draw. Think of twelve semi trucks, loaded down and stacked vertically end to end.

  • I'm glad a women is narrating...

  • @RustyRazor2010 What does that have to do with anything?

  • l2 pronounce axes and aqueous

  • We see a relatively high end tank - at 3000+ psi containment you need excellent quality control. Most interesting is the closing process that leaves a machinable inlet stub - this I have not seen before, my tanks use a welded inset 3/8 inch thick at the flange and 1/2 at the collar. It's the difference between steel and stainless steel I suppose. but we all find different ways to make the same thing happen. Overall this is an informative bit of video, thank you for posting it.

  • shit these ppl have to be making some profit to be in business still.

800 tons of force, thats like 1792000 ponds of pressure (812800kgs)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=-WNo_3f5Y3A

  • they;ve stole the footage from " how its made "

  • @linux00001 If they made the cylinder, and "How It's Made" took the video, then technically How It's Made stole it first.

  • I wish they could make a cube shaped object. That would be cool. About the size of a car.

  • That is very cool.

  • All I see is machine sex. With lubrication and cylinders going into holes.

  • VERY IMPRESSIVE!! Thanks for posting this one!

  • @teddybeareleventeen try ali tanks muchless heat required to make same tank

  • Amazing stuff

  • 800 tonnes of pressure. Remember to get an adult to help you with that process.

  • Condoms for Optimus Prime.

  • now if u wonder why they are expensive u can see they are freking thick and from 1 piece no welds

  • 4:50

    oooohh... hot diP galvanizing...

  • Just bought 3 cylinders too cool!!!!

  • wow @.@ /.. im never gonna look at a cylender the same way again

  • q legal !!!!

  • 2:26 - 3:08 very interesting

    amazing video

  • Dam thats an impressive proccess

  • Great video think i may buy a steel scuba tank !

  • jebus they don't skimp on the technical details do they. lol

  • very nice video mate

interesting to see how things are done when most people dont realise it =D

  • I work for this place!

  • I want to go scuba diving now.

  • amazing video
