agreed, i always ranked this game right up there with mario, its pretty well made and you gotta love 2d platformers with map screens providing different ways to go through the level. Music was great too. Unfortunately every time i played this it crashed when i got to the last world, damn amiga 500 couldn't handle it. still, sweet game, maybe i'll pick it up and finally complete it on an emulator.
This is one of the best amiga jump and run ever. The player sprite is verry nice animated and big. The scrolling of the levels is evry time verry fast and nice (like sonic on megadrive)
Atari attempted some bandwaggon jumping with the release of their Falcon030. The rainbow-coloured logo was a wink to the boys in pink. This ploy failed miserably though, nobody was prepared to believe Atari were really sincere in their gayness, it was just too far fetched. Even top shelf mags refused to carry their adverts as it was rumored they employed straight models (the actual fact was that the icons & arrows in the ads were too confusing to bum boys as wells as normal people).
The "Amiga" was a hardware platform developed by a company established in the San Fran Cisco gay community in the mid 80's. The aim was to give gay people equal opportunities and "a foot in the door" in the emerging IT industry at the time. There is a large following of the Amiga in camp communities to this day. You will notice many of the games ("gaymes") had campy, colourful graphics
Thanks for bringing that to our attention. It reminds me - Atari tried to cash in on this, years too late as usual, when they designed their Falcon030 logo badge in the famous rainbow colours of the happy men friends scene.
amiga was amazing, had TONS of games!!! good ones too. who the fuck cares if it looks gay. i do not. it had all the classics and the music was better too. and you could get the cracked games for nothing, i had like 500 games for my A500. all of em were awesome. so :p

The unreleased Mega Drive port of this Amiga game, in fact, was retitled "Mr Nutz 2".

The Amiga, on the other hand, was always known to be "the real deal". No one could mistake its users or software library for anything but gay.
