  • C64: 3+1 Channels

    VCR6: 8 Channels

I think there's something wrong here

  • @MacWii Yes and no. I'm not terribly familiar with how a SID works, but the C64 version of this does use 3 channels, but it can generate all different kinds of waveforms on each channel.

The bass, for instance, is somewhere between a 50% square and a saw, so I used two channels and sort of "combined" them. The drums called for both square and noise, which means another two channels. Beyond that, I think there's a second square/saw somewhere I ended up using a 50% and 6.25% square together for.

  • @NecrophageonIII oh, i see, but sound wise it sounds great, so kudos toyou for that

  • @MacWii Well thanks, man! :)

  • I knew that it was possible that with the vrc6 the next can almost match a sid, my a temp wasn't to good...

  • Good job.

  • wow, this is sooo C64.

  • @plrusek Because it is 100% C64 in sound and music which *I* composed! (Jeroen Tel signing off).

  • @freejaytea It's truly an honor, sir! Thank you!

  • So you can do pulse wave modulation on Famitracker? Good one!

  • @YuzoTibi Thanks! It's really more like *simulated* modulation, but it did the trick! :D

  • GOOD SHIT HERE!!!

  • "I attempted to make a Famicom sound more like a C64."

Ya serious? Sounds like you do such tracks for years. Nicely done, I'm stunned. :o
