  • Yes, I must agree the Cambodian "Patsy Cline" very lovely, another angel called back home to be with God. I love this song, to me if everyone would listen, appreciate and understand others maybe there would be no hate and wars, but it is the ignorant that ruins this thought.

  • I wish she was still alive would love to have met her...

  • This song released and translated from Chinese movie in Khmer title 'Oun Cheer Chet Nas' in English title is 'I, Broken Heart' 1970 Chinese film.

  • Wow what a lovely voice--the Cambodian "Patsy Cline."

  • I love it very much. It is meaningful, shows about a wife who loves her couple very much.

  • My favorite song! We used to play and sing in high school in 70's! In deed the last song my friends and I listened to before we said good bye after high school! thanks!

  • love this song so much as it remind me of the Chinese movie in 1973,cause when the movie is over and people get out ,you would see the GIRLS with "RED EYES" called "Tik Phnek youm".thank you for posting.

  • thx

  • I love this song, can someone please tell me what the movie is called?

  • The Cantonese movie was called (in Khmer) "Cheu Chet Chaeat Troung".

  • Guitrich,

If this song is translated from the Chinese Who will love me, the lyrics are completely different. What's great w. old singers is they don't just plain translate the song like nowadays so called singers; they made it into khmer.

  • hi lumieresrei:

Thanks for your comments. I don't think the song was translated from the Chinese song "Who will love me" by Teresa Teng, I don't speak Chinese so I can't verify it. I can't even say for sure if the Teresa Teng's version of the song was the song from the original movie. I do know that Ros Serei Sothea's version is the actual song from the Chinese movie shown in Phnom Penh in the early 70s.

  • Hi Guitrich,

In hkship's channel, there's a translation of every Teresa Teng's songs. You have to click on the right hand corner for more info.

    Enjoy

  • Hi lumieresrei:

I checked the translated lyrics of Teresa's song as you suggested. They're not the same as the Cambodian version here. The two songs have different lyrics. The Cambodian song's title is "The Goodbye Song" in English.

  • Great cover by Ros Sereysothea. I love it!!

  • I found the chinese version, by Teresa Teng, it's called "Who will love me".

  • I reAlly Love this Song.... sound so sad and remind me lots of memories.

  • My mother took me to see this movie when I was a child. I have the remake CD with all the songs from the movie.

  • Lovely! This is one of her best songs! I have a couple of cds of her songs. Amazing! Ros Sereysothea posessed an incredible and beautiful voice. Her songs will live on!

  • Yes, she is the best. What a beautiful voice she posessed. No other can't compare to her at all.

  • i love it!!!!!!!!

  • origin chinese song my dear !

  • It sure was chinese, all songs from that movie was originally chinese. I would love to hear the Chinese version.

  • i remember this movie. love this song, so sad
