Can you explain how connect the network connection of windows virtual machine, to the pfsense load balancer??
I'm trying to do the same load balancer, and i can not connect to the pfsense oad balancer. Im' trying to connect to the static IP LAN interface (in my case 192.168.1.140) but it not works.
@nachinlopez I dunno if i got this question right, but i'll try to answer:
if my pfSense lan(host only) interface IP is 192.168.1.140 netmask 255.255.255.0 then, my windows virtual test machine should have a host only vmware network card and it will be something like this:
IP: 192.168.1.200
Gateway: 192.168.1.140 (my pfsense LAN interface IP)
@welbsterhansi Rapaz, boa parte do que eu aprendi foi lendo os materiais disponiveis no pfsense.org participe tbm do forum perguntando, respondendo. Fora isso existe o material impresso que voce pode comprar na amazon.com procura por pfsense lá. Além destes algumas BSDCon possuem apresentações dos autores disponiveis em freebsd.org voce procura por pfsense e alguns resultados tem as apresentações dos autores.

The LAA IP ( in my case 192.168.1.140) is the gateway for the diferent client connections.??
This is too the primary DNS??
Which is your windows network configuration of the virtual machine where you browse the car`s' image in google??

Hi,
Set 3 VMWare network cards:
1 NAT (WAN)
Primary internet access by vmware's NAT (just set as NAT and make sure to activate DHCP on the wan pfsense interface)
2 Bridge (OPT1)
Secondary internet access by bridging your virtual machine to your real network (u can configure it like a real network node or just DHCP it)
3 Host Only (LAN)
Host only network interface for the web interface administration.
This setup was just for virtual tests. Hope this help you out
