Wow!This is truly some rare stuff!!I always thought that Messages or Electricity were the first singles! That means I have to revise my theory about the very first real videoclip ever made.Got to be this one,as it states to be 1979!Avant garde indeed.Wonder what the British must have been thinking of this, back in the day.Would anybody have realised what legends they eventually became? This is where D.M.,Duran and Spandau cut the mustard!Long live OMD!!!
Can I just say again that this is such a fabulous track and now I wanna listen to it all the time - it's THAT sort of song once u hear it 1st time. In other words, it's an addictive tune!
This is the 1st time I've heard this song (and I claim 2 b a megafan) and I think it's xclnt! PS Did u know that this is their first Guinness Hit Singles entry (it reached No.67 in Feb 80)?
Anybody else out there have the OMD error 45rpm of this? The label says Red Frame/White light and the B.side says I Betray my Friends but instead plays Martha and the Muffins-Echo Beach?
Is this phone box still using this number i wonder, i can never get an answer from 0151 632 3003 , i guess it may still be a phone box even after 28 years with the same number too! cool <:-)
Just outside the pub !! How convenient!! LOL Been to that phonebox a few times. The OMD fanclub tried to get a plaque put inside (or ouside), but was refused by the council!! IDIOTS!!

how i love this post punk , pre modern rock and dance music style of their early songs
unfortunately they have never become as important as for example depeche mode
but their biggest hit on the billboard hot 100 charts was IF YOU LEAVE a soundtrack to the teen movie PRETTY IN PINK
i have no idea what im telling you know but its youtube :-)
