it's so annoying to see ppl still caring for silly things as nacionality, race, religion or sexual identity instead of appreciating one's talents. Who cares if Mr. Tortelier was jewish or extraterrestrial? he was a great artist, a great teacher and as far as i have learned an excellent person

Il n'est pas professeur. Il est un des plus grands violoncellistes au monde. Il s'agit ici de ce qu'on appelle une "masterclass". Ce sont des sessions exceptionnelles. En France on ne s'intéresse pas à la religion ou penchants spirituels des artistes.

Merci pour toutes ces videos. Un veritable tresor! Il faut a envoyer ca a EMI pour en faire un DVD commercial. Je suis un violoncelliste Francais recemment engage dans L'orchestre symphonique de Boston. Cette lecon de Tortelier m'en a apprit plus que mes 25 annees precedentes de travail!
