I only have a crappy N900 but would just like to know how long you can film for before the battery dies?

@ClactonRadio There is a limit of 29 min per video (new laws by EU to stop piracy I think). The battery lasts a good amount of time. Hard to say how long though.

I got a canon SX130 in the end which can do HD for 10 mins but its enough for me.

Or I think it does 15mins in SD its an OK camera.

I think the canon powershot 200 is better in quality filming. I bought the wrong one, this one sucks!

If they make a compact camera like this , same size but have 24x zoom or up and under 400 bucks , i would be the 1st one who buy it. They only make the compact cameras with full body that have those awsome zoom and guess wat, you can never fit it in your pocket.

In case you still don't know!

In AVCHD mode, unlimited (depending on memory card space) unless you get the EU/PAL version which is limited to 15 minutes.

In MJPEG, 2Gb limit which works out at 8 minutes on highest quality.

Hi,

this one was Motion JPEG - since iMovie was not able to handle avchd-lite at this time.

Since the iMovie update I switched to avchd, so most of the other videos are AVCHD.
