My oldest son has been on disability and was threatened by the agency that consolidated his debts, he believed these threats and was working part time to pay them off. The debt ended up being twice what he originally owed and they told him they would charge 6% a day if he didn't pay them a certain amount. People on SSDI supposedly have rights that exclude these types of debts. He currently lives in assisted housing which takes around 80% of his check. His working could have lost him his SSDI
