Tender romance goes well with the coolness that the monsoon rain brings - the background of this song. This movie was such a tender love story of sacrifice by the soldier Sunil Dutt to save the officer husband the lover Nanda of their youth prior to her marriage. She asked him to watch our for her husband, and he did. It was a simple story, but well-acted and well directed. Thanks Yuan for this wondeful melody.

this awesome! used to be a regular on Vividh Bharathi national hookup in the early 60s. One little radio in my very modest little home in Trivandrum used to bring this lovely number many nights as I was getting ready to fall asleep!
