  • @byemydog1 he's just another moron who gets off on slaughtering animals, there's many parallels between hunters- serial animal murderers, and serial murderers- they are obsessed with it, they take souvenirs off their victims- body parts and/or personal effects, they take photographs and video to relive it over and over.

  • @doggiejigs Youtube is full of sociopaths like @ruj1970 who not only hunt but post videos of mutilated animals.Btw, he is a toothless, inbred hillbilly who lives in a trailer drinking beer the whole time. He should try to get a job and get off welfare.

  • @villanovakid84 Oh I certainly believe that true, I even saw a video of a singer named TROY GENTRY who paid for a CANNED bear hunt so he could boast about being a he-man bear bowhunter LOL, pathetic!

The TAME bear named cubby was old, had bad teeth and the owner wanted to dispose of him, the whole thing was filmed, including the bears agonizing screams and gasping.

see here: Country Singer Troy Gentry Kills Tame Bear, Part 1

  • @doggiejigs What a disgusting story, but it exposes the sickness of these hunters. I could not stomach to watch such a ghastly thing as to torment a beautiful creature. Hunting is bad enough, but to torment animals is a sign of aberrant behavior. There is a correlation between abuse of animals and serial killers. Cretins like Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy both tortured animals before they murdered humans.

  • @villanovakid84 When the US Fish and Wildlife learned of the case, Troy Gentry & his accomplice Lee Marvin Greenly were charged with felonies. The video of the CANNED hunt of a tame bear was part of the evidence against Gentry and Greenly.

The story made nationwide news, but only now do you get to see just how low Troy Gentry and others like him can go in their quest to slaughter animals for trophies.

Troys prized "trophy" bear mount and bow were confiscated, he paid $15,000 in fines

  • @doggiejigs Justice was served in this case, I hope these hillbillies got some jail time for tormenting that poor bear. They both sound like gutless cowards to me.I love animals and I think it is a dastardly act to savagely kill them like that toothless, welfare collecting, hillbilly@ruj1970.

  • @villanovakid84 They didnt get jail time but singer Troy Gentry had to pay to lawyer up, and a $15,000 fine, plus he lost his "trophy" which had to cost thousands to taxidermy, and his precious bow was also taken along with his credibility- protestors showed up at his concerts, with signs, pics and megaphones exposing this moron LOL!

Not sure on the other jerk what happened, but his business was mentioned in great detail and it's location as well is known.

He had at least 2 wolves captive too

  • @doggiejigs I never heard of Troy Gentry, I am not an American btw.He is probably a dumb hillbilly singer. I am glad he was harassed at his music concert. In my opinion, hunters are losers.

  • Better idea- BOYCOTT meat, and all wool products and bankrupt the deadstock industry and the wool murderer industry as well inside of 6 months- many problems solved- including manure runoff into rivers, streams, cholesterol/heart clogging, and saving our wildlife who for 150+ years have been destroyed FOR these deadstock ranchers- time to move em out of business like the bowler hats, steam engines and trolly cars.

  • @doggiejigs LMFAO You're an idiot. You're pathetic little boycott will do nothing but effect you.

  • The best device to keep wolves from livestock is my rifle.

  • @ruj1970 how about you build a better fence to defend your precious stupid livestock.

  • @Silvawolf100 Look up the term "open range" then tell me how the hell any rancher can build a fence to protect livestock you blithering imbecile. I'll bet you have an IQ of 65 just like all the other wolf loving morons.

  • @ruj1970 Look up CLOSING public lands to private cattle grazing permanently.

  • @doggiejigs You can try but it will never happen.

  • @ruj1970 Never say "never", the documented severe land flora/fauna damage from overgrazing and trampling of PUBLIC lands by PRIVATELY owned cattle businesses is one that is known, circulating, and outraging people who see the truth of what happens.

I wont even mention the tax payer funded subsidies and the mass slaughter of wildlife at public expense for the sole benefit of the deadstock ranchers. The tide is slowly turning!

  • @doggiejigs What mass slaughter of wildlife at the publics expense would you be talking about? Unless of course you are talking about the mass slaughter of deer, elk and moose from the wolves that were transplanted here at the publics expense. That slaughter?

  • @ruj1970 Mass slaughter of wildlife by the US govt on behalf of deadstock ranchers, where federal hunters were paid to fan out across the lands and drop poison baits, traps, shoot, gas and burn any animal the industry deemed a "threat". Even the eagle was considered a "threat" to sheep. As a result of the poisons strichnine and others- MILLIONS of non target species ALSO died- birds, mammals- everything exposed to the poison or it's residue.

  • @ruj1970 Then there was the corrupt wolf BOUNTY program in most states, published accounts of how some captured wolves, let them breed in captivity, and turned in the puppies for BOUNTY cash. Ears turned into 1 county, the rest into another- collecting double bounties. Paid Fed hunters leaving breeding survivors on purpose to ensure their JOBS the following year hunting down the resultant wildlife.

All of this went on at since at least the 1850s at a HUGE cost- to TAXPAYERS!

  • @ruj1970 You forget the number of deer and moose HUNTERS slaughter every year for "sport", not to mention the thousands of deer and moose hit by CARS and killed in every state. Not to mention how many areas see so many deer they became pests hanging around residences eating trees, shrubs, plants, gardens.

  • @ruj1970 Thats YOUR problem, if you had 500 dogs you'd have to kennel them.

  • @ruj1970 best device to get rid of cattle on PUBLIC lands is poisoning them late at night too ;)

  • @doggiejigs Don't be surprised when you get shot for doing that.

  • @ruj1970 LOL yeah, right, would be on the other foot, a hunting "accident" mind ya

  • @doggiejigs What a nice thought!

  • For everyone who are saying that it's right to kill wolves: Shoot yourselves in the leg and see how you like it! Wolves were once revered by my ancestors. Now they are dying out. This country has gone downhill ever since the white man landed here. The American ideal is to completely ruin all that is beautiful. I know I'm going to get a lot of heat for this, but I don't care. Having all of those wolves killed will have my ancestors rolling in their graves.

    Thank you

    A proud Cherokee descendant.

  • @buddygoogle Ive been told I have cherokee blood. but wouldnt know the first thing about finding out for sure

  • @Silvawolf100 Ask your grandparents if you can. They may be able to tell you.

  • Wolves are more important than hunters? That's quite ironic considering that hunting pays for wildlife conservation, and that Franklin D. Roosevelt who was a hunter himself started wildlife conservation.

  • I love killing wolves. I shoot em in the guts so they run off and die slow. Good times LOL

  • @ruj1970 you idiot they are endangered anamals that are just trying to live a life!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ruj1970 idiot they are just tring to live a life

  • @madfire122 The wolf hunt is open and I have a tag. Let's go kill some wolves.

  • The best solution is high velocity lead.

  • The count down to wolf hunting season has begun. It won't correct all the wrongs defenders and the rest of the wolf cult has done, but it's a start!

  • AMERICIAN ARE GREEDY AND RANCHERS ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR MONEY/PROFIT, AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ANIMALS. THAT'S WHY THEY RAISE ANIMALS FOR SLAUGHTER. I DO NOT EAT MEAT OUT OF RESPECT FOR ANIMALS. THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO LIFE JUST AS MUCH AS HUMAN ANIMALS. CHINA EATS DOMESTIC CATS AND DOGS, SKINS THEY ALIVE. THEY KILL TIGERS NOW TREATENED TO BE EXTINCT IN LESS THAT 10 YEARS. AMERICA IS BLIND AND IGNORANT IF BEING SELFISH IS THEIR ONLY CONCERN. GLAD I DO NOT EAT ANIMALS. WHERE'S BALANCE OR RESPECT>

  • @GOLDENFLYWARRIOR

Actually, ranchers ranch for a reason. Ranching is incredibly hard and yes, they do raise their cattle to be turned into meat but that's how they get money to pay their bills. What this video talks about is what we need--proactive, predator-friendly measures to help both ranchers and wolves. I eat meat, but only from free-range, organic cattle that have been raised using predator-friendly techniques.

  • "I will kill the firs hunter to step out of that hunting aria with a wolf in toe!" ~My sis in Ohio!

    Love ya sis!

  • This is why the Tasmanian Wolf became extinct. They did not protect that animal until 3 months before the last zoo animal died,by then it was WAY too late. People did lobby for the animal, but the farmers had more power and they wanted the animals gone, they didn't give a rat's ass that they were almost gone. And it turned out it was feral dogs that killed the livestock, not the Tasmanian Wolf(also called the thylacine)

  • Why is there ALWAYS someone who dislikes EVERY video out there with more than just friends' views? Doesn't matter what it's about. Could be the most brain-explodingly cute video to ever conceptually exist. Nope. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

    lol

  • Defenders haven't done enough damage yet. Is there a way I can skip the donation process and take a more direct action towards destroying our future generations wildlife and stripping people of their livelihood?

  • @PretendersOfWildlife

Giving ranchers predator-friendly techniques to protect their cattle from wolves does not destroy their livelihood--it helps them have an easier time. Do you really support ranchers? Making them do nothing and shoot every single predator doesn't benefit anyone.

  • @BirdingCristina Wolves could care less about predator friendly techniques. This is a wolves thought process......eat eat eat eat eat - kill kill kill kill - lick my butt - kill kill kill - eat eat - screw - kill kill kill - sleep. Compensating ranchers 1 out of every 8 instances isn't good enough. You can sound alarms, put up flashing lights or hire a mariachi band to strum their guitars and dance the night away but theres still far too many wolves. Defenders of wildlife is a scam.

  • I know a feller that uses an AK47 for huntin'. I told em he was ilegal for usin that gun. I hada ruff talk em to get em to stop. God done put these criters here for the killen by man but must use the write gun. Hippys go to Cananda . Th e only good woof is a deadin!

  • mabey you wolf lovers, who think the wolf is more important than human life, should take note, and shoot youreselves!

  • Got your thinking a bit backwards.

    Wolves are the danger.

They destroy the new born of domestic and herbavors [deer, elk, moose]

You obviously don't give a damn about those animals, letting these wild dogs out of control to have free range over anything it desires to eat.

Our governments voted in by the majority will regulate this just fine thank you.

    You are the minority.

Thanks for your opinions on the matter.

    MYOB.

  • @semtech30 : You are one big idiot. You have no idea what you're talking about. Us humans are just as wild as these so called "Out of Control Wild Dogs." And I have complete respect for the population of herbivores such as deer, moose, and elk, but if wolves don't do the eating they need to, then the populations for these herbivores will go over the top. The wolves need to hunt the deer and moose to control the surrounding ecosystem and food chain. You obviously have no respect for wolves.

  • Wolves kill guard dogs. How would one fence in 1000 acres. This is complete nonsense. DOW is complete nonsense.

  • HOW MANY TIMOTHY TREADWELLS SETTLED THE AMERICAN WEST ? How many Cris McCandless' worked for Lewis and Clark ? Your Rogues gallery of Environmentalists least likely to Survive just get's bigger and bigger and I haven't even mentioned those that were killed by some of these. JUST STOP BEING STUPID JUST TO BE STUPID ! and if you can't please quit making movies of YOUR STUPIDITY ! We got it !- you are dumb.

  • It is rather funny that "hunters" seem to think it is okay to kill wolves, deer, bear, or whatever else is out there. They do not seem to realize they are destroying families too of the "wild". Where is the right there , I do believe hunting should be abolished and men should find some other sport, like beating each other up, to help their "manly" egos get under control. Stop the killing just to kill, where is the right there?

  • @phonics1212121212 : I understand what you're trying to say, but hunting deer can be very important in some places. Because of the high population of some herbivores such as Whitetail Deer, hunters need to control the high number. But there is only one reason the deer population is so high up, HUNTERS ARE KILLING PREDATORS!!! That is the only reason us humans need to take control of Deer Population. If we stop shooting wolves, bears, cougars, etc...There will be no more need to kill deer at all.

  • @cantonsoccer12

I am an animal, an animal at the top of the food chain. For 1000 and 1000 of years we ( yes we share the same ancestors ) hunted other animals. Its part of the ecosystem why are you against it ? Cause you think human are some Uber creature above the animal kingdom ? I hunt, fish and trap to feed my relatives and make clothes, etc in total respect of the animal I kill. I am closer to nature that you ''Sunday national park hiker activist'' will ever be.

  • @stefihuntalova : If you actually read and understood my last comment, you would know the point I'm making. Am i against killing animals? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. But all that shooting down predators is doing is making more room for herbivores. Taking down too many carnivores is not doing any good, because it's the reason deer population is so high up. So, you're a hunter? COOL, FUN, I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST IT AT ALL! Go shoot some deer, eat some venison, but don't kill carnivores and...

  • @stefihuntalova : ...and ruin the food chain. We need wolves to control the ecosystem, but all the poachers (not calling you a poacher) are killing of our wolves and ruining the ecosystem. Too many herbivores isn't good, so just let all predators be, and have respect hunting the animals you hunt. By the way, I am very close to the forest, and have respect for all animals hunted and non-hunted in there. So don't start an argument with someone who knows what they're talking about.

  • @cantonsoccer12

You are right killing all the wolves is a mistake. Where I live wolf population is healthy and moose pop is average, we collect some wolves each year so there is one less mouth to feed in the pack ... if you hunt herbivores and no top carnivores some of the carnivores, starting with the omega wolf, will eventually have nothing to eat become weak and die form disease and starvation. You agree that there is a midpoint between killing all wolves and being a vegetarian hippie?

  • @stefihuntalova : Wait, are you calling me a vegetarian crack/smokin' hippy? because i'm not. or did you ask if i agree about a midpoint between that and killing all wolves. I agree there's a midpoint, it's where I'm standing. I understand what you are saying about not enough food, but at current moose and deer population, that won't be happening for a long time. basically the only wolf hunting i'm reallyt against, is sarah palin's selfish aerial wolf hunting, and killing to wipe out the species

  • @cantonsoccer12

Yeah I was speaking about the midpoint, between the over emotional hippies and the Rambos wolf killer. Unfortunately for us, there are more people brainwashed on either side than people that really understand the situation.

  • @stefihuntalova

"there are more people brainwashed on either side than people that really understand the situation."´

Your're right. Personally I am pro-wolf but I believe that saying "OMG WOLFS ARE SO CUTE DO NOT KILL THEM IT IS EVIL" doesn't help. What helps is laying out the facts, destroying the myths, and helping the community live in a better harmony with that controversial animal, instead of just shootin' it.

  • @cantonsoccer12 u are awesome

  • Spit in one hand and Pray to the Wolf in the other and see which gets full faster!!!

  • A Wolf never balanced anything!!!

  • Yeah, sure, freecoyote. It must have been utter chaos in the wild until you egomaniacs showed up with testosterone-loaded guns to sort it all out, eh.

  • The greatest enemy to man, is man, 'raytheist'. God did not make them poor, people made them poor. People brought in money, and with money, came poverty. It's because of wolves Im going to school for Zoology. They keep our ecosystem at balance. They are not over hunting, we're over hunting, in which is causing a drop in natural prey. Wolves have always been a source of spiritual balance to Native Americans. They look to the wolves as the mothers of the land, and we should too.

  • Wolves pick off the sick and elderly leaving only the strongest behind to reproduce and continue, if you will, the "Circle of Life." They take only what they need and thats it.

Just like any animal, they're bound to come into contact with people. As more development ensues, there's less land for the wolves to roam. With more hunting of deer and elk, there's a drop in prey for wolves. In which, they are forced to come in contact with people and their livestock.

  • Thank you for caring about these magnificent animals. Wishing you all the best in your efforts. Many people don't realize that this takes a courageous individual to do what you are doing. I can well imagine how much hard work you all do. Thank you.

  • hunters are considered a bunch of losers all they know is to kill innocents creatures next time they will be killing people, you hunters do something good, stop killing this animals, they are Gods creature, shame you all, thats all you can do kill, kill kill and kill !!! Bunch of MORONS...

  • Yes, I am a lady, but you are definitely NOT a gentleman. Also, you do NOT know your English grammar.

  • Didnt know this was english class ? No offence! but people like your self, dont realy know whats going on in the " REAL WORLD" the canadian gray wolf, is destroying big game populations. There like a tornado, they just destroy and move on. Where I hunt, Idaho City. a guy had his 2. 100 ibs+ german sheps, killed by a pack of wolves. They jumped his fence... to kill his 2 GSD. What if his kids would have been out side ?

  • 1st = Children do not need to be outside by theirselves without supervision.....

especially if a person lives in an area where there are predators...... be it wolves,

cougars, rattle snakes, or even humans.

If my grandchildren are outside, I am out there with them. If need be, carry a gun. People need to take precautions.... just like wearing a seat belt.

The ONLY explanation that I can give is that if God had not wanted wolves to be on this planet, He would not have created them.

  • "The ONLY explanation that I can give is that if God had not wanted wolves to be on this planet, He would not have created them."

Yes, and if God did not want poor people to be on this planet, he wouldn't have created them.

  • God put wolves on this planet for a good

reason. Who are we to dare to question

God by killing the wolves? I have no problem with hunters killing deer to eat,

but I have never heard of people eating wolves. Therefore, leave the wolves alone. Do NOT kill the wolves just to hang them on the walls of a house. To protect

domestic stock: deter the wolves via guard dogs, range riders, or any other method available except killing them.

GOD BE WITH & PROTECT THE WOLVES !!!

  • UH..... wolves kill dogs, need a pack of dogs. What good do wolves do ? I know they mutalate deer/elk, most of the time they do it just to kill. Wolved need to be controlled by hunting them.

  • You have NO idea what you are talking about. I have had pet wolves for 18 years. Have you ??? I am NOT talking about wolfdogs or about animals that some people call wolves, but have absolutely NO wolf content. I am talking...

the REAL thing !!! I have bottle fed, burped, & stimulated their genitals to get them to potty. Until you have lived with wolves for 18 years, you need to keep your mouth shut.

  • such nobles creatures, aren't they? :)

  • save wolves

  • Save the wolfs, they are beautiful animals!

  • im maybe one of the few, but wolves shouldnt be killed for taking livestock. theyre doing it to eat, to survive. i dont give a crap about ranchers livestock. human hunters make excuses to kill wolves. theyre human scum. get rid of the hunters with their big guns and save the wolves. theyre more important than hunters.

  • @massakur

Well, rancher's entire lives depend on their livestock, so you shouldn't just "give a crap" about them. What they're taking about here is exactly what we need--predator-friendly livestock husbandry techniques that benefit both wolves and ranchers.

  • Yes; we desperately need to protect these animals. They are a balance keeper in a ecosystem, and they are a true beauty of nature. They have a bad name from some that is not deserved, and that is because those people refuse to learn the true facts about Wolves.

  • Wolves are an important part of an ecosytem

  • These beautiful creatures must be protected. Wolves usually take the ill or old animals maintaining the health of the forests.

  • hmm let me wonder why... when a guy comes and kills a sheep, we jail him (not that it's good)....and when a wolf kills a sheep, we kill their entire pack O.o

  • I support the wolves to live as long as God will help me.. I will try to do my part through the help from God.

Please have mercy for the wolves.

    They are loved.

  • Maybe the ranchers need to learn from the wolves how to work a bit harder for their families needs instead of taking the easy way out. Shooting or poisoning the wolves is a cowardly act. My belief is that the wolf makes a man look idiotic and lazy!

  • Listen to the hate in their voices. Wolves have been here for a very, very long time. They ARE poetry in motion. They ARE loyal to their families. They work very hard, no matter what. They have a purpose. They have a heart. They have a right to life, a home, a chance. Most important... they have a soul.

  • your more likly to get bit by a shark than a wolf

  • You're more likely to die in a car accident than being killed by a wolf...

  • This is such a good idea. There doesn't need to be any complicated way to keep wolves at bay, and they don't need to be killed.

Ranchers should definitely use techniques like this; it seems to be working.

Wolves are magnificent creatures and it would be a shame for them us risk their endangerment/eventual extinction.

  • People are idiots! The wolves were there first, WE are invading their natural habitat. Our global population is out of control and some people are sooo ignorant that they can't see the bigger picture. When the wolves are gone, who do you think will bitch first about the out of control rodent population the wolves help keep in check. I have NO respect for these people that are slaughtering the wolves.

  • I hope you wil lkeep the wolves alive in europe the wolf's are almost extinct I really respect you for helping them that much,I will try to ask our animal groups to help the wolf's in europe

  • I sent in my letter today, just got it yesterday afternoon.

  • The poor wolf. It is the most hated and misunderstood animal. For what reason? Bees, lightning strucks, polution or car accidents kill more people every year than the wolves have since they first seen humans. It really is a shame to hate wolves what they are: highly intelligent and social animals, extremely adaptable. Despite of the human constant persecution, wolves still manage to survive and endure our never ending stupidity and greed. But for how long?.....

  • Sorvos the negativity against the wolves starts out in childhood with the terrible stories that depict them as being evil. :( Like you said, there are so many things that are far more deadly. Of course the deadliest and most cruel is man.

  • Yes, I know. Stupid and useless stories.

  • Wildlife friendly ranchers are helping to bridge the divide between those of us who realize the important role that wolves play in healthy ecosystems and those who would see these magnificent animals removed from their natural habitat.

Ranchers who use techniques like the ones profiled in this video are really a part of the solution!

  • The Reason Half Of Idaho Montana And Wyoming Hate Wolves Is Cause They Believe In Those Stupid Myths And Fairy tales

WAKE THE HELL UP PEOPLE WOLVES ARENT EVIL AND SAVAGE ANIMALS

They Raise Families Like Us Dont They

Man Stupid People.............. Make My Blood Boil

  • Another thing You Know These Ranchers Bitch And Complain That there livestock is always getting attacked

WELL WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK IS GONNA HAPPEN WHEN YOU OWN A RANCH IN AREAS WITH PREDATORS

Geez Common Sense with mindless Bastards

and when cattle is attacked THEY ALWAYS BLAME THE WOLVES

tHEY Fail To Realize It Could Coyotes Or Bears or some shit

but they dont wanna hear that cause they are stupid ass morons

  • You are doing noble deeds! I wish you all the best and all the luck with save all the wolves...thank you, thank you that you want to help those beautiful creatures and save them for the next generations..

  • Don't forget Sarah Palin, who allowes hunting of Wolves in Alaska.

  • It's really a shame that those farmers kill wolves saying that they want to "protect" their sheep . Why can't they realize the undeniable fact that the land belongs to wolves too ? Indeed they've been there for thousands of years , and they're the real owners of that lands . Shame on those who kill these magnificent beauties .

  • I Really Love Defenders Of Wildlife For Giving Wolves A Chance

I'm With You Guys All The Way LET OUR WOLVES LIVE IN PEACE

    AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • omg I am so glad to hear that you guys are keeping these beautiful creatures safe! I know that these wolves will live on, just as long is that we can help ^^

  • I still don't understand what people have against wolves. They are an extremely intelligent, family-oriented species. Some call them pests, but if we would only stop invading their known habitats with ranches and lay off overhunting wildlife, wolves wouldn't have to resort to venturing onto "our" land and stalking farm animals.

Thank you for this video and all you are doing to help the wolves! I really hope for a day when all predators can live in peace with humans.

  • Thank the stars for Defenders of Wildlife. You keep my faith in people alive. Keep on with the excellent work to protect wolves from the alarming and hateful people who hate them.

  • wolf killers disgust me.

  • Keep on it DofW! Great video!

  • SAVE THE WOLVES!

    Wolf hunters make me SICK!

  • save my fav animal, the wolf [=

  • save the wolves. =)
