I think some people are a bit more gifted than others. I've trained very hard, but never gained the ability to do dunks nearly as good as that. The best I've gotten is maybe my head 1ft under the rim, and fingers 3/4 on the box and I don't think there's any way I can get my head above the rim no matter how much I train, at 6ft, 170. If I was a foot taller, then it would be a different story.

They're born with a larger proportion of fast twitch fibres compared to Caucasian white people. Hence why a LOT of black guys can just dunk with ease without any real jump training.
