I thought Ian McKellen in Coronation Street was absolutely and totally brilliant. The cast of Corrie were fantastic and especially Maurice who was magnificent and milked the whole thing for everything it was worth. The whole Mel Hutchright story line was superb from beginning to end. The part where Ian was reading his poetry at the evening class thingie was superb. Audrey was in stitches.
