  • Thorstein Veblem, little fella, Thorstein Veblen.

    You're not Cajun, are you?

  • Write you Congress--thell him to impeach the fucker.

    Call him too.

  • Did that months ago.

  • Do it again--this time add the bailout.

Especially if your Congressman is Republican. They don't worry about war crimes and the destruction of the Constitution but money always attracts their attention.

  • Congressman X--this bailout is gonna cost my family $8000. No campaign contributions for you this year.

  • Mopsius... :D actually with 131million taxpayers last year that would actually add up to be $5343.51 ... Not to be so picky but it makes it sound a bit easier!? LOL

  • Point well taken.

  • Actually over five years the $700 trillion will be more like $5 trillion.

Also they have already spent close to $1 trillion on other bailouts (with no effects).

  • corr: "$700 billion"

  • It's easy: they borrow money from private banks against the taxpayers and give it to banks for bad paper so that the banks can led you more money at interest.

    Got it.

You are a dupe. So do something about it.

  • I'm a dupe? Nope. But the leaders of this country are counting on citizens to be asleep at the wheel. I think they're a little surprised at the huge consitutent responses saying NO.

  • "But the leaders of this country are counting on citizens to be asleep at the wheel. I think they're a little surprised at the huge consitutent responses saying NO."

I must say.. I am surprised that as many people as are... are comming up and voicing their opinion on this.... It seems most people want nothing to do with politics and wish someone else just to make all the decisions for them... Maybe we are about to stand up and take our country back?

  • One can only hope!

  • love the video..

    So true.

Next tax season if they've hiked my taxes, I'm not payin. Thats right they can take the tax hike and shove it up their ass

  • Well, today's meeting with Bush didn't go well. I hear it was contentious. They just don't get it. Thanks yogiudo.

  • I adore you but I have not listened to the Elite run media in 2 years. I have not listened to Bushhitler speak in 4. That is what the mute button is for. There is no reason for us to bailout the corporate banks that have put America in the mess it is in. Period. But the Elites are running the show.

They do not listen to the American people.

So get yourself some popcorn and enjoy the show folks.

  • I think multiple sources of info are optimal. I think it's going to suck for a while.

  • Thank you Gabriel, well said

  • Thank you, dear LadyElgin.

  • you go girl!

  • Hello dear chick! thanks!

  • yep americans are tapped out. money has been too easy for too long. i think the average consumer has around 5-10 grand credit card debt. your credit card bill, mortgage, gas prices, grocery bill, etc going up due to inflation we are all hurting. just wait till you see your heating bill this winter. they'll print the money - buy back the junk loans in stages and people like you me and this outstanding lady will get screwed to the wall with inflation like you have never seen.

  • That reminds me, need to get the chimney swept and a cord of wood. Or two.

  • The bigger problem not addressed anywhere is the fact that the money isn't really coming from the taxpayers. It's coming from loans from other countries on the assumption that the taxpayers would be paying it back. So who owns America?

  • China owns quite a bit. They do have an interest in our money not completely tanking. But I don't know if it's enough.
