i remember when I was real young i watch this movie at my friends house. I believe I was 8 or 9. Anyways, I brought along all of my gundam action figures, along with the gun perry. XD

I had bot char's and amuro's mobile suits, and a couple of the new zeon mobile suits from this movie. I had a ton of gms and zakus to throw around the room, a few of the custom ones two. Good times

A lot of the deaths in this movie werent good... Quess got owned by like 1 missle, Guinei got dommed with one shot from behind, without even being able to scream a bit in normal gundam pilot fashion, Char got owned by Amuro, then they both faded into some colorful misty stuff... Oh well

He wants to force the Earth's inhabitants to flee to space so that all of mankind will evolve into Newtypes. He believed that if mankind became Newtypes, war will be redundant and peace will last forever. Very similar to SEED Destiny's "Destiny Plan".

Ok the whole turn A and gundam x aren't part of the U.C. timeline but they are in fact a what if sanario of the time thats why things like zaku's, newtypes, and the mass colony drop exist in those gundam series. the whole point of them is to say what if things went along this path instead. e.g. Zaku II classic compared to that of "Turn A's" MS-06 Borjarnon

Anyway, Turn A isn't meant to be a fully canonical continuation of the UC universe, but rather most of the Gundam multi-verse. Why, for example, would clips of the RX-78-2 appear along side clips of Gundam Wing in the opening sequence? Hmm?

did you watch all the gundam episodes he dosent die intill the very end of the gundam show becuse they couldnt make a way for him to live after a ship blew up with him and his gold gundam in it so with out a real bad guy in it the show ended so if char never was fighting another gundam (and losing) the show would have gone on and Amuro wasnt the one who was fighting char at that time he died i forgot the name of the person who did beat char but char killed himself

Char dies in Chars counter attack which takes place after Zeta and Double Zeta. He survives the explosion of his ya-ku-shiki(i think thats how you spell it)the gold mobile suit your referring too.

It was only the Titans that wanted to wipe out Newtypes from my limited knowledge of Zeta. Imagine more Amuro Rays climbing into mobile suits, and imagine them hating your guts. Nobody liked the Titans, and the Titans feared Newtypes, thus that colony gets the gas.

The Titans are defeated, the first Neo Zeon movement happens (ZZ Gundam), then the second Neo Zeon movement happens (Char's Counter Attack). Londo Bell is formed, which is basically a new Titans, except not evil, and consists of former AEUG members that were aligned with the Earth Federation before Zeta, notably Bright Noah and Amuro Ray.
