I got rid this mini monster years ago now, it was a fun little truck though.

I got the mini z monster clone, made by iwaver (the 02 version) so its half the price as the kyoso ones but totally compatible, i paid £50 for the truck, but spent about £80 on upgrades, because of the price it was costing for upgrades i got rid of it.. but they are a little cheaper now..

hi mate, the motor i have in mine is an Atomic upgrade stock motor, its quite fast but you can buy faster ones, this motor cost me £8.

hi mate, no the wheel nuts are locking alloy wheel nuts, The stock speed of a Mini Z Monster truck is about 10mph, but this is not stock, they cost between £40 and £90 depends on where you buy, and the batteries are AAA size, but you can buy good AAA RC truck batteries...

yeh mate there fast, and the more you upgrade the motors and electric and stuff the faster it will go,

speed ranges from, but mine at the moment does about 20mph full wake, but if i upgrade more it will go faster..

Thanks mate.. I made the video and did the slowmotion using windows movie maker, if you have windows xp you will have it aswell in your programs menu. windows movie maker has everything you need to make and edit a good video, and its very easy to use. hope that helps ya mate...

yeh mate you can upgrade to lithium batteries but you have to buy a conversion kit, it will again add more speed and run time.

Yeh i think they are good, but upgrading them to the max is not cheap but worth it :)

The top speed all depends on what gears and what motor you use, also upgrading the PCB board or getting some new FET's will make it go faster. Mine at the moment does about 18mph but when i put in my new PCB it will do about 23mph and if i buy a faster motor the mph will be more.

Man mini z totally own, i got 2 racers and an overland, but they stopped stocking in the uk. Damn you KYOSHO if you didnt try to force your substandard crap on retailers you could make a killing on your mini z`s. I need an AWD and a monster too. but looks like ill never get them >.<

No, its got an atomic standerd motor, with a 10t gear. its also got alloy shock mounts and alloy oil filed shocks.. more upgrades will to be installed..
