Has his gameplay been altered in Dissidia 012? I don't know if they did anything to affect his way of fighting. I know in Dissidia 012, they changed a few attacks or altered them a bit for certain characters, but I don't know if anything happened to him since I never used him (mainly because I can't use like hell when it comes to using his combos :P)

@GigaBahamut jecht block has been nerfed, jecht beam was added, and I HEARD that the timing for his combos have been tightened so they may be a bit trickier to pull off. other than those, he's the same

try counting for about 2 seconds after each attack you make, i think it applies for all, but i have an indicator for true jecht combo...anyway i did count 2 seconds when i'm still practicing, now i'm used to it, i dont need to count

oh you have to be burning for the hp attack. ive been doing it without charging and wondering why it wont chain to a hp attack

@watfernando No.Jecht has so many different moves.He was too manly the developers had to make his comboes hard in order to make him playable.I mean,if you don't even need any timing,Jecht would be the cheapest.

does level has to do with the first 2 ground combos of jecht? i can only execute the air combos so im going to give the ground ones a try

For the full brave combos - no.

For the brave to Hp combos - yes.

The 1st combo (brave attack-to-Jecht Blade) requires Jecht Blade( air), which is available at level 20-ish, while the 2nd one requires True Jecht Shot, which you can get at level 38.

Yes, you have to, but only when it requires you to input the HP attack. The button requirements for initiating the brave attack combos remain the same.

1) They both have more or less the same timing. Take note that the brave attack animation right before you input the HP attack is different for both combos.

2) Yes, its down + circle the 2nd time the "red circle" appears around you. If it does, that means you've got it right. ;)

3) For Jecht Blade combo, its circle only (analog at rest position).

Ehehehe -- I just noticed something guys. At 1:22, the "Sephiroth!" matches the timing of pressing the circle button; and at 1:25, another "Sephiroth!" matches the time he kicked the rock thing.. (Rock??). XD Check it out! Cool exhibition by the way -- nicely done there.^^

You just need to execute the button presses at the right time

For instance

The aerial combo, o - o - V o

Once you engage in the sword bashing part, wait until the SECOND sword swing, then quickly do triumphant grasp before the third swing starts/connects

...It's hard as fuck. lol. But no, you just have to be able to do jecht rush/stream, and then perfect your timing, and you'll be able to do them with a hell of alot of practice O.o

You can do the brave combos plus the 2 already available HP attacks right from the start, but you'll have to reach at least level 38 to unlock the other 2 HP attacks (Jecht Blade midair and True Jecht Shot).

Circle - Jecht Rush/ /Stream

UP + Circle - Jecht Block (both)

Square - Jecht Blade (both)

UP + Square - True Jecht Shot

DOWN + Square - Triumphant Grasp

Notice the vertical bar beside the hp bar? Fill it up by collecting the little orbs or the glowing bell with wings and once its full, press R + Square to enter EX Mode.

Once in it, just land a hp(square) attack and the 'box' will appear. Press square when you see it and you'll enter EX Burst.

If you mean different combos then there aren't any since Jecht has a total of only 6 combos which are all shown in this video.

Hey dude, do you have the list on how to link his combos together, I have been trying very hard to do them and I haven't gotten anywhere. I have only been able to do it at least 2 times but I can't get it the other times when I use the attacks. So if you do have the list or you can send me a link to where I can find it I would really appreciate it. Thanks and have a nice day.
