The term "Deaf and dumb" is highly incorrect and very disrespectful for Deaf, they are not dumb at all. they are people like everyone else. they have feelings and emotions too, they are no different than hearing people and can do everything that a hearing person can do except hear.

@revoltac1210 Just the way someone is? That's bullshit. Average deaf children of deaf adults score higher on IQ tests than average hearing children of the same age. Avg deaf children of hearing parents score equal to average hearing children of the same age, even though they're cheated, because IQ tests aren't including their native language. Deaf Chinese children wrote characters better and in shorter cuts. So, you're hearing and dumb.

you're correct, it was my fault. dumb is exactlly offensive. A dictionary tells me that old-fashionedly speaking, dumb are people not able to speak at all, and many people think this is offensive. Thanks for your advise.(:
