He tried reporting a massacre of 19 civilians, when he was in Vietnam. Eventually the military confirmed everything he said. They prosecuted nobody. They never told the American public. They never told Jamie Henry, they confirmed his entire story. He found out from an investigative reporter in 2005. Google Jamie Henry, Vietnam for the true facts.

When he came back to the states, he told his Captain & the CID & both tried to persuade him not to report his story. It wasn't until he got out of the military that people started listening to him. When I went to the Dellums hearing, I told them my experience was second hand, so I contacted two people in the unit that was involved in the massacre. They gave first hand sworn testimony corroborating my WSI statements. They said the 13 killed were on one side of the village. They said a total of 30 were killed, women & children.

After WSI when I was asked to testify at Dellums hearings, I contacted 2 people who had direct experience. They gave a greater amount of details including the fact that more than 13 were killed. Calley's punishment was a slap on the wrist & "house arrest" for overseeing 500 murders of mostly women, children & babies. It was an exercise in futility. We were all aware of the ones who did report war crimes and the lack of investigations that took place. In my case who was I suppose to report it to. If you want a classic example of what happens, when you try to report a war crime look at Jamie Henry. He was a Winter Soldier. He signed an affadavit. He tried reporting a massacre of 19 civilians, when he was in Vietnam. Eventually the military confirmed everything he said. They prosecuted nobody. They never told the American public. They never told Jamie Henry, they confirmed his entire story. He found out from an investigative reporter in 2005. Google Jamie Henry, Vietnam for the true facts.

One thing about Winter Soldier, it was the biggest nothing ever. All those CID/NIS interviews and NOTHING was worth investigating.

Again you are too lazy to do your homework. You obviously didn't take the time to read Jamie Henry's story. He found it impossible to report his story in Vietnam. When he came back to the states, he told his Captain & the CID & both tried to persuade him not to report his story. It wasn't until he got out of the military that people started listening to him. If Winter Soldier is the biggest nothing, why do you carry copies of my testimony with you? Forget about it & focus on the Iraq occupation.

And I hold you personally responsible for the 10 soldiers who died this week already. People like you, who are pro war, who do everything possible to prolong the occupation, unremorsefully, put young soldiers in harm's way. If the peace people had their way, and the occupation ended one or two months ago, these 10 soldiers would be alive and with their families. How can you possibly claim that you are supporting them? Hello? Fallujah? I was there in 2004 for the first battle. I put my life on the line there literally because I believed in the cause of rebuilding Iraq. I put it on the line more figuratively the day I signed on the dotted line to the join the Marines and the day I put on the uniform.
