@aivieleeking paint i better? you can draw very detailed cars and houses in sketchup.. and render them so that they look like real life, search sketchup render vray to see some awesome work. i make my money using sketchup, i dont know anybody who has a job working with paint

It is SketchUp, pretty easy to use, and trust me... This preview of it sucks!! Just a random 5 seconds model. You can make giant houses and so on with it!

Sketchup sucks, it is hard to use and some of the tools do not work right. Try using Autodesk Inventor to actually make some serious drawings.

Hey, don't go dissing Google Sketchup.

It may not be the most extensive program or anything, but if you know what you're doing you ca make some relatively nice models.

Personally I sometimes use it to get my base model, and then import it into Lightwave and finish modeling there.

132 is right... Blender IS free. but Sketchup isn't really that bad. My 22 year old sister is an expert at using CAD's, and she approves it.

hey 132 have you used sketchup? maybe you have a profession where you need something that cost a lot of money, but that doesnt make this a bad program, its actually pretty great for someone like me, a furniture designer/maker, who doesnt want to spend a lot of money, but still can show a pretty good rendering to a client
