@khollmusic Ive been snowboarding for 10 years and skating for 9. A frontside rodeo is theoretically possible, except nobody has landed a clean one. You never see them in high level production videos just because they look like crap.

@xxfinnellxx Well, you haven't been snowboarding long enough I'm afraid. Daniel Franck was doing (frontside) rodeo's back in the mid-90s. Just search Daniel Franck 1996 on here or try and find a copy of Stomping Grounds (MDP). Second trick in and last trick in his part. That's what it was called back then - Rodeo Flip - spinning frontside with a backflip; Frontside was added because Peter Line and Chris Englesman started doing them backside so they had to make a distinction.

@khollmusic Nah dude. Backfliping and spinning at the same time is called "under-fliping", backfliping (over the heel edge) and backside spinning (Spinning at the last moment of the flip) is a rodeo. A backside under flip will show that the rider is spinning fluidly through the whole flip. Thats what Trav does.

Dont Believe me on that, Check out Eero Ettala's gold X games slopestyle run from this past season (2010). His last jump is a perfectly textbook double rodeo 9

9. triple back to fakie numb nuts. A rodeo is where you backflip over your heel edge. He flips over his tail. Thus if you really wana be technical about the names in this, then its a triple wildcat to fakie, or double wildcat to backside underflip 5. No where in there does he rodeo.

hey im getting my first board n need sum advice... what do u think is better, getting a burton custom v-rocker (small) or getting a lib tech box scratcher? i dont know that much bout lib's so i need sum ideas. im guessing ppl are gonna lean more towards the burton though

um the libtech is a more advanced board as far as i know, and the custom v rocker (smalls) isnt near as good as its big brother, i think it really depends on what type of style you ride. For all mountain definitely go for a board with rocker, but if your going for a park board go with the libtechs or ride, or some of the burton coalition, i ride a burton se7en 2010, rides like a dream in park and pow, how long you been riding for?

um id actually go with a bigger board for colorado powder, but deppends how big you are really, i bought a burton se7en 154 and its right size for powder and great for park. Honestly with the libtech it is slow but deffo go libtech over the junior anyday! have fun

If you are around 145lbs then you should look around these board lengths. For every ten pounds you are away from 145 then add or take 3 -5 cm to the length. If your lighter, go shorter. Heavyer, go longer.

-147 to 152 for rails

-152 for park

-156 to 159 for cruising and POW
