help me please i have midi usb cable and i have a cdp100 and i have a kontakt 4 ut i cant play the sample sounds on my cdp100 only i can hear sound in virtual piano on kontakt4
All I need from the digital piano is not a beautiful sound but realistic feeling of the keys. Keys' feedback is great! They are pretty heavy as I like. I am going to plug it in through my computer and play with more naturalistic VST.
Portability, light weight and removable stand are also significant benefits of this device.
Cons: Key release time won't let you play extremely fast on one note. Built-in sound synth is okay for rehearsals only.
@nobitaku3t No you can. But your soundcard should have MIDI inputs or MIDI-USB cable to transfer MIDI signals sent from CASIO piano to your computer. Then choose any program (FL, ableton, etc) and record MIDI data.
What do you guys think about the feel and sound of this piano? Or are there any better piano's in this price range? Key feel needs to be REALISTIC, (i.e. weighted and scaled & touch sensitive), and good authentic piano sound? Please respond, seriously considering buying this =D Thanks
@MikeChristensen1995 feels and responds better then the Privia, although the sound might not be as bright. I had to choose between the two and I chose the CDP. No regrets. Great instrument.
I've bought Casio CDP-200r, and I'd recommend you that one. The feeling and the sound is very realistic on both of the instruments, but CDP-200r has way more options and I think it has slightly better sound
hey! i just got this piano! and its Really good! You can do so many stuff with the Function button and the, ehm,, haha, tangents, ( the white and the black pinns) tune up, tune down, 2 sounds at one time, it play demo music for each sound,:) Go for it!|
so great this presentation... I'm searching for a digital piano and this is a good alternative to going to a shop, where maybe they haven't the piano I like...

@rbneville I use ART Vista Virtual Grand Piano. I guess one from Native Instruments is well enough too.

@MikeChristensen1995
Touch and feel are very realistic.
Sound is excellent through headphones or amps. The built-in speackers don't do it justice.

@MikeChristensen1995 weighted keys sounds nice, but don't use it to much you know don't press the keys too hard because then you get noisy keys.
nice for beginners and lessons.
i have a cdp-100 too!
