  • The best part about your machine is that due to the physical mechanics, the degree of resistance increases as your arm goes through the move, which in a way replicates the effect of resistance band training. Great job, man.

  • now all you need to do is get a friend to armwrestle with.

  • Like it alot but not so keen on the kneeling down bit. I have managed to come up something thats pretty decent and cost me nothing. And for all those who wanted to build a homemade tricep pushdown setup, just finnished ti and it works a treat!

  • In arm wrestling you want to pull your opponents arm closer to you, not to the side.

  • Now THAT is a great invention brother, I like it alot! Mad props!

  • Keen setup....may try rig up something like that myself. Maybe I would win an arm wrestle then?

  • Ever think of adding resistance bands to it?

  • @wccrispy I haven't had a need for extra resistance. I can fit enough weight plates to suit my needs.

  • nice keep up the hard work

  • thats a siccck machine!! love it man! im gonna build one too! thanks for sharing!

  • Now THAT'S a machine exercise! I'd like to use one of those

  • best idea ever though of

  • its meant for preacher curls but that works too?

  • @d4ngerdoom No, you can't do preacher curls with this... I built this from scratch for the exact purpose shown in this video.

  • great way to armwrestle alone spyridon.I am not an armwrestler but i like to do it sometimes. this exercice works the "side pressure",right? any ideas to create one home made tool for top rool?

  • How much weight have you worked up to?

  • @MrPAULONEAL Your wrong. If you look close It's made out of wood and metal pipes. Have you ever heard of a leg curl attachment made of wood? The arm is attached to a plywood base (which you can see moving slightly separate from the bench on which it's sitting) It has a 135 degree angle to it and I built it to match the length of my forearm. You go right ahead and try using any leg curl attachment for arm wrestling...

  • this is not the exact motion of armwrestling tho

  • @muzimuzi troll!

  • @rctriplefresh5 when was the last time u took a look in the mirror wonder boy ^^

  • nice design, simple setup but does the trick.

  • where do you feel the burn?

  • @ocr17

    In the glutes..

  • @csjs123 smartass.

  • @ocr17

What are you talking about??? lol

  • How did you make the hinges for this? Did u add door hinges?

  • Now that you made this, i also feel motivated to build one myself, although I'm not quite sure how, but I'll try anyway. Unless you could teach me. :D

  • Cool! I'd definitely buy one of these for 100 dollars.

  • thats cool as hell just patent it and make a prototype and enter the show Sharktank id invest a million on that one because believe it or not Arm Wrestling is one of the worlds favorite past times

  • I always work both arms equally. I just spin around to the other side of the machine to work the other arm. That's why there's a handle on both sides.

  • wow man... way to read the info tab on the side before criticizing nimrod.

  • @Airbornerock Can you spell dislexic?

  • You just gave me a great idea for an arm wrestling machine. Thanks!

  • damn dude!

  • youll beat anyone in a aarm wrestlin contest

  • fajnie wymyslone,

  • That's a fucking sweet idea

  • thats actually pretty cool lol

  • awesome, im going to try this lol

  • wow dude, this is SWEET. awesome! i wish i could make one.

  • Try putting more weight on and hold it still (static hold). That will mix your workout up and also build endurance for the matches that go on a bit..

  • Nice job man...and kick ass machine! Good luck with ur rehab.

  • nice! by older brother rigged up a similar machine but w/ pullys.

  • this is cool, good job.

  • good job man,nice machine

  • that is pretty bad ass

  • that is sweet

  • That's ingenious, this looks like a good way to get those hard to target arm wrestling muscles

  • Hello, like your idea, I have just badly dislocated my shoulder and broke a bone in the joint. Like your machine! How long until you regained full strength? I want to get it sorted ASAP so I can get back to sports. Any tips on a speady recover? Thanks

  • Increase the height of the table so you can get proper height to operate with your body instead of the arm.

  • congratalations for your home machine!

  • Ditto. Also include a stabilizer grip for the free hand. And maybe sleeves of different thickness too.

  • Good ideas, thanks for the input.

  • My pleasure, your welcome.

  • That's one hell of an idea. You should get it patented.

  • yeah!
