i got a question about that one...im looking for effects... so can i just use this like a standard effects pedal, with in and output, ant put it into my preamp, which goes into the poweramp?

yes, it can be used like effects only...

The power amp is a special version of the VHT 2/50 with 6L6 tubes...

Now I have an axe fx ultra with carvin DCM1540 poweramp and it sounds amazing !!!!!

I used it with a VHT 2x50 and then with my carvin DCM transistor....The carvin is a killer, really !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you use a carvin poweramp with an Axe FX, you won't be disappointed !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me ;-)

Did you get your power amp upgraded to 6L6s then? The 2/50/2 has EL34s normally.. I'm gonna get the 2/90/2 and try a Prophesy II through it, but if all else fails I'm gonna go for the Ultra. I have no idea how to use it or multi-effects machines in general, but I've been playing for ten year and have grown a little tired of the plain "head-cab" setup, so I think it's time to learn. haha

Now I' have a Axe FX Ultra ans sound is better...But the propehesy is still a bargain !

I'm playing now with an Axe FX Ultra mixed with a carvin poweramp and 2 CAA Cabs...

The Fx Ultra is really amazing !!!!!!!!

@jemcox2001 He friend i checked a lot of Axe fx video,s,but i still haven,t found a sound like this in it.The machine has a completely different tone.Effects are unbelieveable.

I am about to buy a prophecy 2 I want to know are you using any distortion other than the whats in the prophecy...?
