And because there's nothing special about her. No story. No voice. No real gameplay. She's basically the same as everyone else but looks different, making her a clone. I beleive the two reasons why she was removed from the game are (correct me if I'm wrong):

1) The team for Sonic the Fighters couldn't fix the eye bug. One eye was facing the opponent, while the other was facing the game camera.

2) Honey was from Fighting Vipers, and the team for Sonic the Fighters didn't ask for permission. (AKA: Legal Issues.)

@ shadowwalkier5976 it was Mirror Honey from Fighting Vipers from SEGA Its only seen it the intro, and it was used for when P2 ALSO plays as Honey (instead of being grey eg if P1 plays as Sonic, P2 Sonic will be grey) Hope this helps!

Honey is a redisgned model of Amy w/ Knuckles' move set, made as a Sonic counterpart of the character "Candy" from "Fighting Vipers". The reason she has Amy's dress when she's squished is probably because they never bothered to recolor that model for her.

Yes, in an anthromorphical (human shaped) way of course. Though one wonder if the same effect can be achieved with ears as ponytails (like Cream's), since hairs have different shapes and characteristics than ears.

when I put these files into my rom i had to overwrite the old files, and now whenever i start the model 2 emulator it tells me it cant find either of em. any idea why this happens? also could provide directions as to how to place characters into slots individually so I could keep some of the original characters in my copy?

Unless it was remade or had a spiritual sequel. Anyway, could it be the glitches that caused her ponytails and tails to disappear aren't really emulation glitches, and instead also due the game itself? With the current emulator basically a better version of the SEGA Model 2? Honey after all is the most complex character in this game.

If the game was remade today, the characters would be:

Espio -> Shadow

Fang -> Rouge

Bark -> Big

Bean -> Cream, with Cheese as her 'dynamite'

Honey -> ???

I may have an idea of why Honey looks like that when hit with Amy's hammer. She may not have a frame for when she's flattened with the hammer, so the game just uses Amy's body as a placeholder.

Yes, Bark does look more like a dog than a bear.

Bark is supposed the typical big guy in fighting games, he seems to be the only character especially made for this game (the others are from other games). He seems to be less well developed than Honey, but most probably because he's the newest character.
