@sunset305 She didn't accuse a specific man. If she did and admitted it before the trial, she should get a more lenient sentence the earlier she confesses. Many women recant their accusations. To give them the maximum sentence straight away would encourage them to brazen it out, leading to more men going to prison! Only if the man is prosecuted should she get the same sentence. In this case I think a month or two should suffice.

95% of rape allegations are baseless. These days I have many friends who were accused of rape. As for false rapes, you have the prostitute who calls on her "John" because he didn't pay or snatched his money back. You have the typical college "date-rape" which involves a chick getting wasted and sleeping with "a loser" then waking up, feeling like shit, telling her friends he was "aggressive" and you can figure out the rest. There are many other categories but I am running out of characters LOL.
