I really wish this Parade stayed the length it was with all those floats in it and not cut out about 3 of them, yes their is more characters walking in the new version but when they took those floats put they cut nearly ten minutes from the parade. None the less the song is catchy and every time I come home I sing tht song because it is stuck in my head :D

Ah, this was a really great parade, I saw this one last March. :)

My only complaint is the characters no longer walk around in the parade and shake hands with you or anything. :(

The Villain is the evil Queen from Snow White. She is actually Snow White's step-mother. She later turns herself into the "Old Hag" and gets Snow White to take a bite of the poison apple.

She doesn't seem to have a name.

Oh man A few weeks ago they didn't have the villain float so they had more characters walking and Honest john and Giddy were with the Pinocchio float it was amazing. :3 I wish the parade had more characters like that everyday tho.

The parade is changed now. The villains float is gone and the stepmother and stepsisters are included. Also i saw goofy get off the float for the show stop.

Also i think they added tweedle dee and tweedle dum, captain hook and smee in front of the peter pan float. Alice and hatter also get off the float for the show stop.

i know i was watching it and then the evil step mother was close and this lady said to her daughter "look there's the evil step mother" and the stepmother came to her and said in a angry tone "you don't hear me calling you evil do you" and the lady said " I'm sorry" and the sm "of course you are" and she walk away still angry.. haha loved it, obviously she was acting, but it's great that characters play they roles, even in hot summer, everyone was sweaty still with an enormous smile

It was Share a Dream Come True Parade in 2008...now it is Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade..same floats, new music, new dancers...a few additional characters...much, much better than last year's... :]

No, it was Share A Dream Come True Parade until around August 2006, where it changed to Disney Dreams Come True Parade, which stayed until January 2009 until Celebrate A Dream Come True parade.

The parade is supposed to go with the Disney "What Will You Celebrate" theme. WDW is not getting cheep. This is a wonderful parade. Yes the floats are the same but they have added color to them and I think it looks perfect!

What a lame parade! That theme song is terrible. And what's with the 1970's costumes on the dancers? And the Disney characters don't move about very much. So if you're stuck on the wrong side of the parade, you'll miss half the characters.

I'm a big fan of The Parade of Dreams which was cancelled at Disneyland. If this is the supposed replacement for it, it's a major step down in choreography, music and energy. Oh brother!

The costumes are supposed to be bright and colorful. What do you want the characters to do dance on there floats and fall off! Characters are supposed to move around alittle and wave not much of anything else. The music is supposed to go with the "What Will You Celebrate Theme" and it goes well. The choreography was a little shaky but what do you expect its opening day for the parade.... by time i can assure you it will get better.

Ooh, when I said I hate the music, I mean, I hate the overall melody. But I LOVE how they incorporate all the different Disney songs - THAT'S an improvement. And I agree about the dancers' costumes - they should at least be themed if they're going to be there!

Like people have already said, WAY too many dancers, not enough character interaction (which I thought was the whole attraction of a Disney parade) and I HATE the music. A lot of people could have done better - the person that made it could have done better if they'd looked at guest satisfaction in certain areas. Party Patrol in MJJ is not extremely popular, and neither were the bridesmaids in DDCT. So why would you make an entire parade of movers that are unknown? It's not very popular or exciting to the guests. This is proven by guest surveys done about the parade.

That's why people are being negative. Because everyone can see the faults.

I don't know why people are hating this parade. I think this parade is better than DDCT. I like that the music is different for each float. The dancers are great but they should be themed to the floats. Like the ones in front of the pinnochio float should be dressed as toys or something like that. I have to agree that there needs to be characters walking. I love the show stop. Its very uplifting. And i don't mind the old floats.

Sorry to say, this parade looks disappointing. At least one float looks suspiciously like it was recycled from a 1980's parade; too few characters; not very elaborate; did not notice any interaction with crowds. I know that economic times are tough, but weren't they originally going to use the floats from the last Disneyland parade?  Those were nice.

I love love LOVE the "Celebrate You" song for the show stop. I do like the refurbed Mickey float as well as Minnie and their costumes. What lacks in this parade that I've been seeing others comment is the lack of characters. You need characters on the ground walking and interacting with the guests. Not only this, but TOO TOO TOO many dancers...inbetween every float? Really? Comeon...its way too repetative to have that. I do like the incorporation of the character's music when going by too...

Very cute music, love the Mickey float!!!!! But they should it done something more colorful on the other ones to match with Mickey. Costumes very pretty, OH IS THE CASTLE FLOAT AGAIN... WITH SOME BALLONS!!!! Was nice to see some familiar faces!! Congrats to everyone down there. It was about time for a refresh. I miss not seen my lovely BROOMS!!!!! :( But im happy for you guys and can't wait to go and see it!!! Miss you guys Alfredo!

Pros:

Music - Very upbeat, catchy, and even changes with each new float.

Dancers - Adds life to the parade.

Beginning Float - Very colorful; good addition to the parade.

Cons:

Floats - Same floats from 8 years ago! Time for a change. They could of built new floats that still fit the theme of the originals but are refreshing and new.

Characters - Sure dancers are nice, but it gets repetitive. A more disney characters would benifit the parade.

Overall, it's better than the last parade.

I agree with the main music in the background, but I like how songs were incorporated to match the characters on the floats. I like medleys and the way Disney parades have songs blending in with the background song. It's just awesome! Poor Unfortunate Souls is a great song btw. I hope the Unbirthday Song is on the float with Alice and Hatter, but I guess part 2 will answer that!
