  • very sturdy tractor, nice work:) Are those australorps?

  • Thanks :) Yes, they are Australorps and this is the first time we have had chickens and we picked the breed after quite a bit of research. They are not flighty, and they are calm and easy to be around. We would definatly get them again in the future. The Chicken Tractor is still going fine, and we designed the garden beds to be the size of the tractor, so we move them around as the crops cycle.

  • Under our council law (Brisbane City Council, Australia) roosters are not permitted.

  • where is the rooster?

  • Where do ur girls sleep? Is there a house in that thing, or do you just keep em there in the daytime?

  • The dome is covered in a tarpaulin under which we have installed a roost. They get from a lower perch up to the roost.
