there is no goalkeeper. this game has a wraparound effect.. if a player gets past you, what you can do is run the other way and your player will wraparound and appear on the other side of the screen and in front of the ball handler.

I'm not a sports fan, but this is an example of what's great about CGR - it gives you what other reviewers don't. An obsolete sports game (the genre which goes down in price and relevance the quickest) on an ancient platform, and yet Mark still manages to give constructive and analytical commentary. Kudos.

I prefer championship soccer too, actually its the only video game ever i played together with my dad, beside the 5 billion multiplayer online gamin hours. remembering championship soccer, one of these fanatic, most talented japanese game programmers made PES aka Winning eleven, which is probably the best video game soccer series made today. and you spared it.
