I am not a person that holds onto organized religion and drinks at the well. Most Pastors are in it for the money. I am sure Joel Osteen makes a good bit, but, somehow I don t give a damn. He does not preach condemnation in every word. But he strives to teach thought common sense and ideals. That' s really what life is about. He reminds me of another Pastor from North Carolina. He too taught instead of condemned.

I am not a person that holds onto organized religion and drinks at the well. Most Pastors are in it for the money. I am sure Joel Osteen makes a good bit, but, somehow I don t give a damn. He does not preach condemnation in every word. But he strives to teach thought common sense and ideals. That' s really what life is about. He reminds me of another Pastor from North Carolina. God Bless Joel! Nothing said in this message reflects the 2nd Timothy scripture, he's not giving a message of unsound doctrine at all! In face he quotes the Ephesians verse regarding spiritual warfare, the critics of Joel are displaying these sorts of spiritual warfare!

to me, anger seems hard to break simply because the longer you've had anger the more comfortable, and more of a bad habit it becomes. it's a very poisonous, self destructive, miserable habit or cycle to be in but habits are so difficult to break. i guess bif i had a stronger faith in god or even believed in him which i feel i don't, it might be easier.

Please explain 'sount doctrine'??? Looks to me that Joel Osteen is preaching sound doctrine...you need to indentify what you feel Joes is in error with with scripture?

Whether you're an Osteen fan like me or oppose his views, either way Joel isn't going to let critics get him down. In my opinion, Osteen's methods are very effective. God has given him so much because he is submissive to the Lord, as any Christian should be.
He's a very good author too; I think all of his books were number 1 bestsellers, and if they aren't, they should be! ^_^ lol
