I'll say it... Naruto Shippuden is NO WHERE near as good as Early Naruto was. Atleast when you consider the quality of this opening... Soul Eater opening fails in comparison to this opening. In fact one could say its quite the rip off.

There are similarities, however there is bound to be. You cant say that everything is a ripoff as its probably been covered before it takes a genius to figure out something entirely original that works as good as naruto does and I'm sorry to break it to you but Kishimoto isnt that genius.

Naruto, in your words, rips off such anime as the Dragon Ball series. Kishimoto himself even cites goku as being the main thing he based naruto around. Energetic and Naivé, there will always be stereotypes.
