The bible, a word meaning "book", was created in 535CE at the First Council of Nicaea. Before that time there were hundreds of scrolls. They picked and chose from these the ones they wanted to include in the canon of the bible.

@AndyB1580 you are mistaken, the original bible came from Torah. Judaism is the predecessor of Christianity. The canon of the bible was indeed 'picked and chosen', but from many bibles. There are actually many bibles out there but only some are accepted by the church as such.
