  • Beautiful Beagle Music!

  • FAT ASS BEAGLE

  • No reallllllly this is field trials?? No self respecting rabbit hunter would want one of these dogs . I just lost all respect for FC bred dogs . This the second one I have seen . the 1st one I thought was an abhorration now I want no part of the likes of this .

  • i agree with beagler45 and them 'WALKIE-TALKIE' dogs are worthless what are the good for a rabbit will but a mile ahead of em always!

  • my dog will run a abbit over anything but if he cant get a scent hell stoart running deer how can i keep him from this

  • Chasing a deer scent is a bad habit. It is

suggested that you closely supervise the

dog. Pull him back in to the line of the rabbit trail/scent. Do that as often as it takes for the dog to get the idea.

  • get a shocking coller and when he runs a deer shock him....thats about all you can do...if he dont stop sssell him to a guy down south that hunts deer with dogs...and try with another one

  • man those beagles are waaaay to slow. i run fast beagles and they dont miss a beat on em. but if its what u like then best of luck to ya

  • them dogs r too slow even too start a pup.....lol.....but if you like them thats all that counts.....i lkike a faster dog myself....how did your dogs do at the trial???

  • The dogs always do well. Slower is better in a trial such as this! they carefully follow

the scent of the rabbit. If you want to watch

their is a trial this Friday and saturday

at the Little Rhody Club, Warwick RI. Starts at 8am! There will be people from as far away as Maryland coming to it.

  • Whoops! I should have mentioned the competition is April 25 and 25th at the Little Rhody CLub, Warwick RI!!

  • o r u running them in a brace trail????i like to run a SPO type of dog....i live in new york and i hope to hunt hare some day so the dogs need to be a little faster for me....but i think all kinds of dogs are good for the sport so keep'em runnin and let me kno how they do at the trial please

  • @FTurbitt Your dogs may do well in trails but they are far to slow to be practical in the field and it is in the field that the breed shines.

  • I should have given you the dates for the

competition. Its April 24 and 25th starts at

    8am in Wawick RI.

  • Love all types of beagles and beagleing but I would never be able do that style, That is boring as hell LOL.Good luck with that stuff.

  • Well, it is a competition to see how well the dog follows the scent of a rabbit. The slower is the better, too! There is a competition this Friday and Saturday APril 24th and 25 in Warwick RI at the Little Rhody Club starts at 8AM. Come on down!

  • slow dogs are best to get a pup started!

  • You got that right! There is a competition this weekend April 24 and 25th at the Little Rhody Club, Warwick Ri starts at 8am. Come on down!

  • that is the slowest rabbit race in history ..

    but I love the sound

  • The rabbit runs through the meadow. The judges observe its path and judge the dogs on

their ability to find and keep the scent of the path. They barked while they had the scent and didn't when they had lost it. It was

my first "field trial". I have a different opinion of beagles now! fturbitt
