  • i rather be a Riverine than in the army i think ill look into that

  • "silt load full of boot" love it

  • same as swcc right?

  • @chacalacala closebut a slightly differ mission.

  • @chacalacala No. SWCC's insert and extract NSW and other SOF personnel. That's their only tasking. They are the maritime insertion/extraction force, that is all. Riverine's maintain inland waterway security. Think of the Riverine's as the Coast Guard of the Navy.

  • They have the coolest looking kevlars.

  • Why is there a shit tone of videos that say what riverines do, but nothing about swcc

  • Also you can send me a private message if you want more information on the Riverine Squadrons. (there are 3 total as of right now)

  • @buttholeboi34 you join the navy, then apply to go to the Riverines. Pick one of these specific Rates though when you join (Jobs) GM(Gunners Mate) BM(Boatswains Mate) QM(quartermaster) or EN(engineer) they take in afew ITs(Info techs.) and IS(Info specialist) but not alot. Also TELL your recruiter, don't ask. TELL your recruiter its a requirement you want put on your contract, in order to be willing to join. Don't let him/her lie to you, it can be done. I just finished 4 yrs at Rivron.

  • @mikejclark hey i leave for basic in april and im guaranteed EN, as its obviously not in my contract any advice on how to get in with RIVRON

  • @rwp16db Riverine is not a Rate as of yet, therefore you must first attend an A school and obtain a rate and then put in for orders to Riverine, usually after your first tour in your original rate.

When it becomes a Rate, which it will do here fairly soon, you can contract into that right out of basic.

  • We have had SWCC for years, their are like RIVRONs but on a Tier 1 level.

  • SWCC is a riverine force.

  • And oceanic their are more versatile, Riverines are a dedicated FIGHTing force.

  • @utuber066 Yeah I know.

  • There isn't a specific rating for a Riverine. Riverine squadrons are made up of a variety of ratings. A lot of Master-At-Arms sailors, but I've seen others such as Intel Specialists go too.

  • Anyone know the name of the Rate:Riverine? example: Marine Corps Infantry 0311

  • GM, QM, OS, EN, BM are getting orders out of greatlakes right now for riverine

  • @almow3 shut up fag. (ur so easy to find) ull never be a riverine warrior at this rate. hahaha
